Cognitive Dissonance ~ a state of confusion or uncertainty about our beliefs and actions.
You may say “I know [smoking/eating takeaway/other behaviour] is bad for me” yet you may continue to behave in a way that conflicts with your thought/belief.
✨ Highly recommend ✨ this book for anyone who is or knows someone with ADHD. This is validating to those with ADHD and provides understanding about what it is like to be ADHD to those who are not ADHD.

Self-care looks different for everyone. Doing something that you love and makes you feel good, helps you maintain healthy boundaries with yourself and others, and boosts your physical and mental health are recommended.
"I am not pretty enough, skinny enough, rich enough, traveling enough". "I don't own a house, I am not married" are just some of the comments I hear frequently. And when these comments are explored further, it is all too often, that people are comparing themselves to what they see on social media.
There is always more to life than what is shown on social media. I encourage you to really think about how you want to live life, and then go live it..
