Well I apologise to you all. Once again, farming out admin remotely to the SE corner, shows it simply can’t be relied on as I turn up at 7:30am to set up my stall at Fairfield only to find no tables (which I contacted them yesterday arvo, to be told no problem, all set up.) and a car on display in the area I was to be in. So, as a result, I’ve turned around and come home. I’ve requested next Saturday in the spot I wanted and if not available, a full refund.
Suffice to say, I will no longer be doing pop up stalls in Townsville shopping centres as it’s a lot of money when things don’t work out as agreed up. (Yup, in writing)
So the next sure thing in a market is the first Saturday in August at the park.
I will now look seriously in offering my products on a website. Will post updates when I get there.

Come and browse some of the new styles this coming Saturday from 9am at Fairfield Shopping plaza. Set up will be out front of Kmart. There is NO strand market in August so plan ahead for Fathers Day and of course the “Silly” season in December. Cash and Eftpos.

Hi to all my wonderful customers. Due to massive issues with the current administration for leasing casual spots at Willows, we will no longer be appearing there. We were supposed to be there last week but I was not sent the invoice and last month when this happened, admin had failed to add us to the set up list.
I’ve just finished days of email ping pong to find out my liability insurance is not meeting their requirements. As a result, the stall area I booked and paid for, for tomorrow is now not going to happen.
I encourage my local customers to submit feedback on this issue.
It should be noted that when I submitted my insurance for them and they needed another part changed which I did, back in Sept. suddenly now it wasn’t correct. I assure everyone I take insurance coverage seriously and of all the markets or pop ups we do, Willows is the only one with a problem.

Onward then to let you know we are back at bushy beach from 9am this coming Sunday and over at Northshore Friday week for their evening markets.

Well it looks like the Strand Markets is a go for Friday night. Don’t let a shower discourage you from coming down and seeing all the amazing new designs I’ve been working on! Market starts at 5pm.

I’m at Willows all day Friday Feb 16 in my usual spot beside Classico fruit and veg. Pop over and see the new designs! Kay’s Candles will be there with your favourite candles!

Apologies to anyone looking for us at the strand markets last night. Due to not having power for 6days, which meant not creating amazing new items but more importantly being exhausted from the event during that heat wave, we opted to skip the market.
We will be set up in a fortnight at Willows beside Classico from 8am. Feb 16th. Kay and I are looking forward to seeing our amazing customers again!

As we all slowly recover from the Holidays, those of us that do markets are starting to create again! Our next market will be Strand Night Markets Feb 2.
We have committed to a regular Willows pop up stall every third Friday for this year. We hope that allows our loyal customers to find us (without parking dramas) and find the perfect gift for the various events in the calendar year.
I’ll remind everyone of my schedule as it gets closer to each market.
