So it’s been a hot minute and so much has been happening! But first of all to explain the picture… I have been invited over the past few months to deeper levels of healing as my body continues to ‘keep the score’, this time with the loss of my hair (alopecia). After experiencing massive clumps of hair falling out each day, I decided to get ahead of it. 😅 It has been a rebirth of sorts, my ‘beautiful catastrophe’ and a massive turning point in my life. So just know I am well and I’m genuinely looking forward to where this journey takes me and sharing it all with you along the way! Much love and blessings and more catching up to do very soon! xx

It’s a wrap! 💃🏻🦋 We have all hit the ground running but are excitedly counting the proceeds from the day and trying to process all of our emotions from such an epic end to over a year of intense planning. It has been absolute bliss working with these three amazing women @190bec @teresahope08 and @verenalouise_x. I couldn’t have wished for more joyful, wise, protective, incredibly smart and very funny powerhouses of women. 😍🙌 As they say, you cannot have a happy ending without a happy journey and this was certainly a delightful journey no matter the obstacle. I can’t pretend there weren’t tears and complete overwhelm along the way, but having this kind of support is absolutely priceless and makes any dream feel possible. 🌟 #womensupportingwomen #projectspeakup

This painting titled ‘Brave Face’ is for all of those constructing their brave faces daily, never quite acknowledging their true suffering beneath perfect facades. I hope we can find healing in sharing our truth and paying attention to the calling we each have deep within us that draws us to our unique authenticity. Congratulations to the winner Michael Lindeman for his amazing self portrait that I feel invites us to consider identity and the narratives we adopt as truth, through his whimsy and humour. 👌 I was very pleased to meet the photographer of this incredible portrait of Troy Cassar-Daley @waynebudgephotography. Meeting the other artists was definitely the highlight! Art, music and a grand piano all at once! 😍 I have had the vision of being able to sing and play piano.😅 Having failed at piano as a child though I once thought it beyond me. So this is the first song my generous and very patient teacher Lisha Kayrooz has taught me. It is such a special song to me and I can’t wait to show you! I heard today that if the inspiration is given, the way to deliver it will also be given. 🦋This felt like an impossible reality at one point and seeing a vision come to life is truly what it’s about. Believe in inspiration and imagination. Take each step and the way is always given 🦋😇 I am so grateful to @townsvillecitygalleries for sharing the gorgeous Perc Tucker Gallery space with me where my Brave Face painting was being exhibited at the time. This was the painting that started this whole journey for me with being so inspired by #liptember and to bringing attention to issues effecting women through the arts.
