PA Fire Solutions is heavily into passive fire at the moment, major fire pe*******on works - re-directing cables and removing combustible composite cable trays from pe*******ons and working through the approvals process with other trades and stakeholders to ensure compliance is achieved in full. No short cuts taken.

Scope of works -

- Find appropriate AS1530 and AS4072 tested systems to achieve
NCC compliance,
- Seek appropriate approvals through QA processes,
- Remove no-complaint cable trays (composite) steel is ok
composite is not - not tested and combustible,
- Make pe*******ons smaller to comply with tested systems,
- Space systems apart to comply with test requirements,
- Co-ordinate with other trades to rectify and re-route systems and services,

Still works in progress with a lot more to go but we're getting there.

Some amazing projects over the last couple of years from Townsville Disaster Co-ordination Centre, Greenvale BOM, Christchurch Hospital, Palm Island, Orpheus island, Tec NQ, TAP, SMC Zinc Refinery and many more.

Performing full scale fire system design and testing to AS1530 and AS4072.

Another successful project completed - Tec NQ Townsville - we completed the Fire alarm detection system, passive fire - fire stopping for selected trades, access control with integrated wireless Aperio and Inner Range Integriti hardwired integration and CCTV

Electronic Building Systems (EBS-NQ) and PA Fire Solutions are currently seeking expressions of interest for a junior apprentice fire and security technician or trades assistant.

We are a small family owned business and are passionate about getting things right and pride ourselves on providing quality workmanship.

The person we are looking for will be self motivated, have good communication skills, be reliable, must be able to obtain a security providers license and must be willing to work away from home, sometimes for extended periods.

The intended scope of training is as follows:

Cert 3 - Fire Protection Controls,
Cert 2 - Passive Fire - Fire Stopping,
Cert 2 - Portable Fire Equipment,
Security Systems Training,
EWP License,
Working at Heights,
