Thank you for your kind messages ❤️😍, and you’re welcome 😎
A beautiful update from one of the Kind Cafes Sticks & Grinds Cafe🥰
Spreading the message of kindness one customer at a time - meet Drew from the Shaka Support Services who we see on a regular basis at the cafe, but this morning while waiting for his order took it upon himself to pay for a few seniors coffee and cake deals for a few people ahead of him.
Kindness spread, kindness well received and that’s what it’s all about. 😍
A reminder for our pay it forward board is in full swing also for anyone who wishes to take part.
This community is one of the best communities and it’s stories like this that keep the dream alive.

Just in case you need a lift 🤗
"Thank you for last night’s networking event. I find the small groups and opportunity to move through people comfortable to navigate. The event is affordable and I like the fact it’s also supporting a local charity element. I have been to two now and both times, been able to make a great connection and learn something new from another business or service. Thank you! 😊"
Thanks Teresa from Community Information Centre Townsville

These girls have beautiful hearts!
I was recently invited to visit the St. Margaret Mary's College Samaritan Angels...
"Held on a Friday Afternoon, 3 until 4.30pm (every two weeks) students from all grade levels and staff come together in the name of charity. Each time students and teachers work together to create beautiful textile inspired pieces that then can be passed on to others. Our superhero capes are stitched with children in mind for these pieces will be donated to the Townsville University Hospital Children's Ward and Ronald McDonald House. A way to remind those ill children that we at SMMC acknowledge their strength and spread kindness.
If we aren’t sewing superhero capes, we are sewing library bags to be donated to The Joyful Foundation and passed onto children to bring a smile to their faces. Our lavender bags are made and packed into the Mother's Day gifts donated to the Ronald McDonald House for mothers of ill children who deserve to feel special.
Some even strengthen their hand-stitching skills by sewing felt hearts, each one slightly different, for they are to be passed to teachers and staff around the College. Some are even sold at the Mary McKillop Parish Fete, supporting the 1000 Heart Project, which aims to spread kindness and compassion globally. We have just donated some to The Kindness Catalyst.
Coming to Samaritan Angels always brings a sense of pride for we know our work here in the College will have a positive impact on those around us. For it’s a fun time spent with friends (new & old) learning new skills, all the while making a difference in the lives of many."

Hey Everyone! I saw this beautiful post and got permission to share...
I just wanted to share a lil good karma project I have atm. I have started a community cupboard out the front of my house on Charles St. I hope that people who are in need may be able to access so help without losing dignity. It's currently stocked with some personal care, cleaning, pantry staples, and some food items. And once it comes time to harvest from all my veggie patches, I will be able to include fresh veg and free range eggs from my chickens. I have also put down that we are happy to accept donations for the cupboard. I've included some pics of the cupboard for attention. I hope that it inspires a lil community compassion and spirit. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. I also have a page on instagram () if you wanna check it out. Thanks!
Original post is by payne in Just Buy Nothing Townsville (what a beautiful soul)
EDIT: if anyone would like to donate, I'm on Charles Street near Nathan Street lights. The cupboard is right out front of our front fence.
Have just run out of shampoos, handwash, etc and would love donations.

Hiya, Kindness Crew... FYI We have had interest in this event from some younger kind-lettes so I have just reduced the lower age limit for this event at Sticks & Grinds Cafe Deeragun.
There is no upper age limit- in fact I originally started my rock painting kit with my 21 year old and we have a blast. We have had lower primary to seniors enjoying this event together. It's fun and relaxing but it is booking out so don't forget to book if you're keen. Just click on the title of the event below to go to the booking page. Have a great day :)
