I met 7 years ago. Celine had cystic acne which made her feel insecure, leaving her with no idea how to truly fix her skin. I know you will never believe this looking at her skin today, but hand on heart I too thought where do I even begin as a therapist!

Finial weeks leading up to your wedding…

Don’t start any new treatments or products during the final weeks leading up to your wedding day, you should avoid trying any new products or treatments in order to avoid an irritation or flare-up. The last thing you need a few weeks before your wedding is a bad reaction to something new you have tried. So just keep using things that work for you—now isn’t the time to change it up.

We recommend LED light therapy to gently hydrate and rejuvenate your skin. We often will book a series of 4 or 6 LED lights twice a week 2 weeks before the wedding, it helps keep stressful breakouts at bay and forces you to relax for 30 mins.

Simple tips on the lead up to your wedding ✨

🤍 DRINK LOTS OF WATER

Our bodies are 80% water, so it is one of the most important glow enhancing ingredients for your skin. If you’re dehydrated, this will almost always reflect negatively on your skin, leaving you looking dull and tired. It’s recommended that you drink at least 2 litres of water a day to flush out toxins from the body and to keep your skin hydrated, but you can boost this further by adding a supplementary electrolyte to your thirst-quenching drink.

🤍 EXERCISE REGULARLY

You may have that pre-wedding workout routine already in full flow, but exercise is one of the quickest ways to get glowing skin as it helps to increase blood flow, nourish skin cells and keeps them vital. Try exercising for 30 minutes at least 3 times a week, to give your skin that extra glow whilst also giving you that happy hormone endorphin rush!

🤍 STRESS LESS

It’s easier said than done especially when you’re planning the biggest day of your life, but keeping stress to a minimum is key to a healthy skin. If the stress rises so do your cortisol levels resulting in pesky spots, and you don’t want that on your big day. Try anything that helps you to destress, from a walk in the fresh air, to meditation or reading a book in between the wedding planning.

Around the six-month mark is when things begin to get real in the lead up to your wedding. It’s just around the corner and almost everything is in place; now it’s the perfect time to really indulge in your self-care ritual. 🧖‍♀️
