VDJ79 series Landcruiser that's been transformed into an absolute beast! 🛠️💪

Our team has fitted it with a GTurbo Diesel Performance G400 titanium turbo and Pro100 Gturbo injectors, and we’ve tuned it to perfection with 30 psi of boost and a flat 17-1 fuel AFR. The results? Unbelievable power, performance, and reliability!

Well Well what can I say 3 different tunes and still can’t beat the consistency of the HFD PERFORMANCE tuning platform😈 This particular customer brought their newly purchased low klm 200 series into HFDP to have us look at the ECU tune /TCM tune and their 2 stage tune select module. After running all 3 tunes up we could see room for plenty of improvements. We decided to remove the 2 stage module and retune this beast from scratch. This 200 series was already fitted out with all the fruit before coming into HFD PERFORMANCE for a retune. Now with the comfort of not having to switch between maps for less power.

This customer was happy to throw the cheque book at us when it came to getting his Ute to where he wanted it 😈 after already spending big money elsewhere fitting all the bells and whistles.. This tidy 200 series was very sad when it drove into HFD PERFORMANCE 🥵
It was running on RAW fuel 💩 Greta Thunberg would have been proud 😂😂 We removed all 8 injectors and performed a full compression test to check each individual cylinder for engine damage. once we ruled out engine failure we sent the injectors away to be fully bench tested 🤓 We received news that one of the pintles was stuck open witch would explain the excessive smoke 💨💨💨 the crazy thing about all of this was that the injectors we removed from the vehicle were sold as 100+ piezo injectors, The flow rate from the testing didn’t reflect 100+ and there was a lot of discrepancy between injectors 😬 after not knowing what these injectors were,
we decided to replace all 8 injectors with new genuine and had them Hi Flowed 30+ 😎 we then got this bad boy on the Dyno and worked our magic, we didn’t have a pre run available as we tried to run it on the old tune but it was dangerously rich 💨💨💨 let’s just say the customer was blown away with the different 🏎️💨💨💨💨💨💨
