𝗢𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 - Mat and Will were on site in Saunders Beach this week with the important task of installing the septic tank on a new, custom build.

Mat and the crew from Macs Plumbing have been putting in septic tanks for our clients since the beginning of MLH and have 23 years' experience in the industry.

Martin, Debbie and Mark took a very special slab tour today with our clients Janine and Andrew.

Andrew was struck down by a sudden illness which resulted in a debilitating brain injury. Their new custom home will be built to SDA - High Physical Support design standards, catering for Andrew's care needs and helping him achieve a greater level of independence at home.

We're looking forward to coming on this journey with you both.

Slab down! Travis & Tehani's new home journey has begun.

Building homes that make a difference is something our team is very passionate about. It was fantastic to present this accessible duplex to Qld Minister for Communities and Housing Leeanne Enoch MP and Yumba Meta Housing Association Limited CEO Dushy Thangiah this week.

Built to the Gold Level of the Livable Housing Australia Guidelines, each unit features step-free entry, larger, step-free showers with tiled seating, wider halls and doors, metal door frames and high impact wall sheeting.

Yumba Meta Ltd provides housing support to some of the most vulnerable in our community. 🙏

The MLH signature rebated 'no-step' sliding door on one side, creating a seamless transition from inside to out...and a picturesque view overlooking some Harris Crossing greenspace on the other. We can't wait to reveal the finished result.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝟯𝟬𝟴

It was built in 2013 and was awarded Master Builders Queensland Display Home of the Year and the highest award - Home of the Year. While the features were many, there is no doubt the main talking point was the large alfresco area.

It was not only large enough to have dining, lounge and BBQ areas, benches, sink and a TV nook... it also was able to be fully locked via concealed remote control shutter doors and bi-fold corner windows.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝟯𝟯𝟰 🏠This award-wining home at Stockland North Shore was not only stunning but was also Queensland’s first ever, ‘Accessible Living’ display home.

Its accessible design features included ‘no steps’ from the street, into the front door, throughout main living and out to the alfresco area, as well as wider hallways and doors, and future-proofed bathrooms and toilets with reinforced walls for future grab rails and hand rails.

The Mitchell 334 demonstrated enhanced access could also be beautiful. These design features and more are now included as MLH standards.
