It's that time of the year!!
We are planning to reopen for our 25th year at the Barra Fun Park. We are busy working to make this year bigger and better!!
Applications are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 season for lifeguards and kitchen staff.

Requirements:
Can work independently and be responsible for your own actions.
Must be a confident swimmer and be able to obtain a Bronze Medallion certificate.
Loves being outdoors and doing physical activities.
Willing to do a range of jobs and learn new skills.
Willing to interact with the public, be approachable, friendly and confident.
Available to work weekends and school holidays.
Available to work between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Out of hours work is also available.
The Barra Fun Park season runs from September to April with out of season work also available.

Australia Day is best spent outdoors and the best place to do outdoors is at the Barra Fun Park!
Barra Fun Park is having its' inaugural Australia Day Party!!!
We will be opening new hours, especially for our Australia Day Party, 1pm to 7pm. Bookings are essential.
Australia Day at the Barra Fun Park will include access to the 2 dams of inflatable water park, small dam fishing and a buffet served through the day.
Bookings are made exclusively through our website at www.barrafunpark.com. Look for the Australia Day Party under the Passes tab. You can book for entry and buffet pass ($30pp) or entry, buffet and water park pass ($60pp).
We will also be doing a special event pre-pay for your alcohol drinks through our website as a option when booking. You will receive drinks tickets for your pre-paid drinks on arrival. Proof of age will be required. Drinks will still be available for purchase on the day at the bar.
We are also planning activities to keep everyone entertained.

We are closed today and will reopen on Wednesday, 27th December at 10am.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas.
2hr sessions commence at 10am, 12pm and 2pm and are $25pp. Your session includes 2 dams of inflatable water park, stand up paddle boards and small dam fishing with everything you need included.
Day passes are $40pp or $120 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids).
Big dam fishing is $55 for the 2 hour session or $100 all day and includes everything in the park.

Always wanted to catch a Barramundi? Experience the exhilaration of catching as many as you can in the time that you have and experience the fun of winding in a real fighting fish. It’s great fun for anyone from 3 year olds to 103 year olds.
Want something more adventurous? Have a go on our Cable Ski. It’s a lot easier than then water skiing behind a boat and suitable for all ages from 4 years to 65 years old, and you don’t have to be fit to have a go. It’s the best fun you’ll have with a life jacket on!
BARRA FISHING
Open Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm and weekdays by appointment. Open every day during the Queensland school holidays. No bookings required.
CABLE SKI
We have 2 inline cable ski machines. Great fun for groups; perfect for beginners and experienced skiers looking to sharpen their skills. For children 4 and over with children under 6 requiring full adult supervision. All safety equipment and wakeboards provided.
AQUA PARK
An adventure inflatable obstacle course for young and young at heart. Open to children over 3 years old with children under 6 requiring an adult with them on the Aqua Park at all times. Everyone wears a life jacket and there's life guards on duty. Heaps of fun (if you can handle it). Open every Saturday and Sunday and every day over the school holidays, from 10am to 4pm. No booking required unless you're bring a large group out.
All fishing and safety gear is provided and we even have a licensed kiosk!
