The Cure Starts Now Australia

It was wonderful to meet with Anne Johnson, the Director of Marketing and Fundraising for the Children's Cancer Institute, who is in Townsville with her team to support the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride which raises money for research.

The Cure Starts Now Australia is proud to fund many research projects on childhood brain cancer at the Children's Cancer Institute.

Shout out to all of the riders in the event which starts tomorrow, Thursday, 25 July through to the finish in Cairns on Saturday, 17 July.

This event has again sold out thanks to the amazing support of our local community.

This year will be extra special as we are hosting the day in memory of the late, great Ewen Jones – a friend to so many in our community and an avid supporter of so many charities and causes. Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, every dollar we raise through the Golf Day for The Cure Starts Now Australia will be matched, and this donation will be given to the Jones family who will allocate it to a cancer charity of their choice.

This is another shining example of how our community comes together to support each other.
