WE ARE RE-OPENING THIS FRIDAY 3RD OF SEPTEMBER AT 5:30PM!!!

Yes you read that correctly… we are going for a third time lucky here at Chico Rio Townsville.

As you’ve probably heard and seen for the last few months we’ve had a crazy time in this venue… but we have cleaned, renovated and sanitised and thrown away the toxic waste that was in this establishment and have decided to start fresh once again.

We would like to acknowledge that we have long serving staff who have been given the opportunity to run this restaurant under the direction of a trusted individual and in no way shape or form do we have anything to do with the previous management nor do we condone or support their actions in the past.

We encourage our staff to show their passion and willingness to work with the guarantee of weekly paid wages under the fair work commission and Restaurant Award wage.

Furthermore we cannot wait to have our beautiful customer back in house enjoying our All you can eat Brazilian Churrasco!!!

Unfortunately due to previous management we are in the midst of obtaining a new Liquor License. So we are unable to serve alcohol until further notice. But we do encourage BYO Wine and Beer, with the opportunity to purchase soft drinks and mocktails.

We will be sharing all our updates on this new page as we are unable to obtain the administrative rights on the old account. So please SHARE THIS PAGE!!! Encourage everyone to Like and Follow this new page!!! Tell your friends, tell your neighbours, bring your family in for a beautiful atmosphere and incredible food Townsville… you deserve it!
