A little about Mary - Mary is an author, social worker, favourite aunty, lover of live theater and avid Lord of the Rings fan. Mary grew up in rural Victoria but has now found her home in Townsville. Not ever feeling like she fit in anywhere, Mary often accepted her dislike for her body size as a normal part of life.
Mary now spends her free time promoting her book in Townsville and Cairns and sharing messages of body acceptance, mental health and the importance of talking to the people we love who are suffering with negative body image and disordered eating.
