Thank You For Honouring Me With Your Votes*
At the outset my warm and heartiest congratulations to the winners of Wyndham City Council Election 2020.
I am immensely grateful to my fellow residents of Harrison Ward for honoring me with your votes in the council election . I want to thank my family, friends, and bonding supporters who generously contributed their time and efforts to our campaign during this Council election.
I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from all beloved Wyndham communities, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Being an effective campaigner involves listening to constituents, translating their concerns into workable proposals, and building consensus to implement them. I tried my best to reach the level of the election success. I may not have achieved a win, but whatever I gained I couldn't have done this job without the involvement and openness of the people I represent. You have taken the time to share your ideas, your concerns, and your aspirations, and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to discuss what really matters to you. Not only have you entrusted me with the responsibility of speaking on your behalf as your choice to be your representative, but you also continued to provide me with the ideas and feedback I need to do as it should be done. For that, I thank you once again.
Our beautiful council may face many challenges in the coming months, but we can overcome them if the Council rises above politics to do in the best interest of it's constituents. I hope we are in the safe hands of winner councillors.
Lastly, I want to assure you that, this is not the end for me. I will always stand by you and be with you in spirit. I look forward to continuing my support for you to retain/restore peace, harmony and prosperity and to making it a better place where people of all ages can count on a future.
I know I will never miss your smiles and your hands on my shoulder. Love you all.
Dear fellow residents, the last couple of months have been engaging, uplifting and rewarding for me in the aim of serving the community. It has been a great privilege to meet and work with so many friends, well wishers and terrific candidates. My love, respect, gratitude and good luck go to all of you. The council election is just coming to an end today. I hope all eligible voters have already cast their votes with the good time of rays of hope of pandemic situation. No matter win or lose, I have gained my achievement with the amount of your love, support and encouragement, I will forever cherish it in my life. I express my gratefulness and heartfelt thanks for being with me throughout this election journey. Without your support and cooperation, I wouldn’t even have dreamt of participating in the election. I always have been very passionate about my volunteer roles for the community and I will continue my engagement with community services regardless of the election outcomes.

Dear Harrison Ward Residents,
I am Mohammad Zahid Hossain Mazumder nomitaing myself as a candidate for the Harrison Ward in the Wyndham City Council Election this October 2020.I have been living inTruganina & Tarneit for past 12 years. Along with my beloved wife and two affectionate sons, I strongly uphold Australian family values. Professionally, I have a Master’s degree in science (Chemistry) and currently working as a Export/Import inspector for SGS Australia.
I know this has not been an easy time in the global pandemic situation but we are getting through this together.
Wyndham City Council has a long history of it's heritage, people and culture. It is the abundant beauty of wet lands, greeneries and the local people that attracted me and my family to connect with the Harrison Ward. For the past 12 years I have been actively working for the wider communities of Wyndham. Engaging with the community has been my priority always. Currently, I am serving as the General Secretary of the VBCF ( Victorian Bangladeshi Community Foundation).
I was actively involved to assist the community through organising different events such as , fundraising for bushfire, online information sessions for family financing and taxation, health awareness, financial and mental support COVID-19, promoting Australian education and tourism, helped the stranded Bangladeshis to return back home during COVID-19.
With your vote and support, I can go further to deliver better community services to the Harrison Ward. Your mandate is our future.Together we can make a positive change.
