Thank you Locky (Lachlan Marshall) for another informative presentation on Saturday for our first meeting in 2023. We learned all about Grammotophyllum speciosum, commonly known as the tiger orchid, or the giant orchid.
It is listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest orchid, with specimens recorded up to 7.62 metres (25 ft) in height. (Wiki)

It's with regret that we advise that our life time member Allan Hughes passed away on Sunday night 16/Oct/22.
His funeral will be on Friday 21/10/22 at 1.30pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church McIlwraith Street Ingham.
