If I had to sum up why I do what I do in one review, this would be it;

“I’m sure you get this all the time, but the person you are and what you bring to the day is more than I could have hoped.

I had a very big rule of only trying to pick and work with vendors who I felt we connected with, and those who evidently cared / were passionate about the work they were doing. Weddings as you know can be a huge financial stress, so my one rule was, if I chose a vendor, it would be because I believed in and wanted to support their business.

You were an absolute NO BRAINER, from the get go. If anything, I wish I had booked you for the full fleet from the beginning.

The day ran so smoothly, Alex and I felt at ease every time you popped up, checked in, set up, gave us the run down. I couldn’t believe how much I was able to be present the whole weekend.

Thank you for being the wedding legend that you are, but also for just being Chloe. Someone who is super approachable, down to earth and very talented.”

I always schedule ten minutes for my couples to be alone just before they enter their reception. More often than not, they’ve just finished taking photos and they haven’t had a chance to stop and reflect together yet.

I usually have a little platter of canapés we put aside for them, some bubbles and ask everyone to not bother them during this time so they can truly soak it all up.

It’s a super special part of the day and one that they’ll remember forever. One of these quiet moments with Mon & Pat caught on camera by 🖤

… and just like that, wedding season is BACK ❤️‍🔥

The next four months will see us travel all over NSW to create moments for over 20 beautiful couples. So many incredible briefs. A lot of green, and a lot of fabrics. Our first ever wedding at Mona Farm and the iconic Sydney Opera House (pinch me).

Cannot wait to share it all with you. Our biggest season yet x

One of my favourite days of 2023 🖤

When planning their day, the most important thing to Em & Al was to be able to spend as much time as humanly possible with their guests.

Their wedding venue, the ever beautiful , have a strict 5:30pm start time, so here’s how we achieved that.

3:30pm - first look at their incredible Palm Beach accom, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Drinks flowing, tunes on & plenty of time for portraits.
5:00pm - guests arrive at the venue, Al & his groomsmen are there to greet them (& no one suspects he has seen his bride already!).
5:30pm - ceremony by the beautiful 🤍
6:00pm - ceremony ends, I hand the couple a peach Bellini each as they guide their guests to the cocktail hour. The sun is shining (thanks, daylight savings), the DJ has kicked off a set, the drinks are flowing and the grazing table is full. Absolutely zero need to leave, Em & Al are able to enjoy the ENTIRE hour with their guests.
7:00pm - the MC asks guests to move inside, the couple go with them just like entering their favourite restaurant for dinner with their favourite people (no need to waste time on a big entrance).
7:15pm - a couple of speeches to kick off the reception.
7:30pm - as the dinner starts to be served, the couple sneak off with & for some photos by the water in the last light.
7:45pm - the couple return, they eat their delicious dinner surrounded by their favourite people.
8:30pm - the final speeches are said, and the couple get everyone to surround the dance floor for their first dance. Shortly after, the DF is full and the party truly begins. Over 2 hours of sweaty dancing, french fries & fun.

Just one of the MANY ways it can be done. Every single wedding is different, and so is every run sheet I write ✍🏼

“Every bride needs a Chloe in their life!! My husband and I got married in September 2023 and we still cannot get over how perfectly our day went. Having had no experience with event planning, I’m not entirely sure why we thought we could pull off a 140 person wedding at a blank canvas venue on our own. About 6 months into planning we realised we needed a little more support.

Chloe pulled everything together and brought our vision to life. Every detail was so well thought through and it was all thanks to Chloe. Her creativity and love for what she does made our experience so seamless from start to finish.

On the morning of our wedding, Chloe was all smiles, showing up in her gumboots ready to get down to business - she had all the problem solving and running around absolutely under control and did it all ever so calmly. Last month, I hit a HUGE milestone in my small business by executing my 100th (!!!) wedding.

100 couples, 200 beautiful humans, at least 1000 vendors managed, probably a million versions of run sheets created, and the same old 1 bumbag the whole way through (😂).

This truly is the dream job for me, and I couldn’t love it anymore if I tried. I have been running this business solo for the last three and a half years, and while it has come with its challenges (hi! COVID, fires, floods, imposter syndrome, accounting softwares I have no idea how to use…), I wouldn’t change it for the world!

The HUGEST thank you to each and every one of my couples for entrusting me with one of the biggest days of your lives. I’m so glad I was there to create some calmness for you in the lead up, witness all the magic unfold on the day, and put out any lil fires that may have popped up (without you knowing!).

Have I said it enough yet?! I LOVE MY JOB X 100 + MORE ❤️

Our very own naughty corner ❤️‍🔥

I walked into one afternoon with my mum after seeing a snap of this “naughty corner” sign and had a little idea pop into my mind. As soon as I saw the checkered tiles, I knew it had to be done.

Our ceremony was in a bar, in the CBD of Sydney, while the sun set. Guests arrived at 5pm, were served champagne on arrival & then sat on the little verandah while we made it official.

The normally quite sports-bar-esque looking space was transformed into a moody jungle, with the most incredible flowers I’ve ever laid eyes on by .wilds.sydney. I remember being too nervous to look at Stephen, or our family and friends, so I just kept staring behind me and saying “wow”.

Post ceremony, we practically sprinted up the aisle while “Gimme Gimme Gimme” blared through the speakers, and lead our guests next door into a completely different space- a restaurant adorned in disco balls, hot pink flowers & fruit.

We then turned around and got to welcome our guests into our own wedding reception, instead of making an entrance ourselves. We had already spent a couple hours together earlier in the day to calm the nerves (lol, didn’t work for me), have a wine & have a frollick in the city with & .

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. IT WAS EVERYTHING. IT WAS SO US.

TWO OF OUR FAVOURITE HUMANS ON THE PLANET GOT MARRIED & WE GOT TO BE THERE TO HELP MAKE IT HAPPEN 🤯

Now unlike the bride, Mrs herself, I am not a woman of many words. Except for WOW, ICONIC, SLAY etc. And to be fair, those three words really do sum up this incredible festival of love for these magnificent humans.

Those who are lucky enough to know Loz & Rhys know that they are two of the most warm, FUN, and ridiculously generous humans you will ever meet. They put everyone (including their couples) above themselves, and are always looking for ways to make everyone’s lives around them a little better/brighter/more-magical.

So! It’s no surprise that their day was filled with so much love it felt like at any moment we all could have spontaneously combusted.

With a vendor team PACKED with some of their bestest friends in the world, two different cocktail hour areas (totally 3.5hrs of mingles/margaritas), a literal magician, the one & only .chats, 6 different ridiculously talented music-makers, GF pasta coming out the w***o, and no other scene but the magical - how could it not be the most fun since sliced bread? Spoiler; IT WAS.

Tori & Sash couldn’t decide if they wanted a classic white wedding, or a pop of colour, so we settled on BOTH. ❤️‍🔥

Their ceremony was set in the gardens at , with a classic green & white floral installation (more to come of this). As they walked back up the aisle, guests showered them in hot pink petals to kick off the party (more to come of this, also) and they were then welcomed into the reception with a burst of colour 🍒

YOUR DAY BY CHLOE TURNS 3!

What a whirlwind the past three years have been. Moving to Sydney, starting a business just before a pandemic threw all our plans in the bin, making lifelong friends in the industry, planning a wedding of my own & a whole lot of YOURS. Undoubtedly the best three years of my life so far.

I’m so grateful for all of the support I have received from my industry friends, especially since making the move here to Newcastle a few months ago, so it only felt right to invite a few of my new local vendor friends to celebrate with me on Monday night. And celebrate we did!!
