Lakeview Hotel Motel
For our friends down on the South Coast, you may or may not recognize this local legend. Our friends Lakeview Hotel Motel are half-way through an exciting renovation. The Oak Flats community can now enjoy a new dining area, bar and our personal favourite, new outdoor area complete with gazebos and kids playground. We are looking forward to seeing the reno complete, with a new lease of life for the old Pub. If you are a local or are travelling south soon, pop in for a visit ☺️

We are thrilled to welcome Kinselas & Courthouse Hotel Darlinghurst to the Publinc Communities family! A big thank you to the team for their enthusiasm, fun and passion for your pubs and local community. We look forward to seeing Kinselas and Courthouse hotel make a real difference in the Darlinghurst community.

Sunnyfield Disability Services have been a part of the Publinc Communities family since the very beginning in 2020. Their mission is to enrich the lives of people with a disability by providing opportunity, choice and skills for life. Our legendary members support Sunnyfield through pledging Community Points which go directly to funding new day programmes for clients and upgrading Hub environments with new furniture, equipment and innovative new technologies. One fantastic example of this is Guildford Hub’s ToverTafel (Magic Table) which supports social connectivity and brings joy to the lives of their clients every day.

It has been so rewarding to help our pub communities contribute valuable funds to the causes that mean the most to them. We cannot wait to start making a real difference in each of our new communities. It has only been one week since Eden Brewhouse joined the PC family and our Redbank community has already pledged over $100 towards their local Publinc Peers! 366 days ago, we welcomed in the New Year with hope and anticipation. ✨ 347 days ago, the future was uncertain with the first confirmed case of Covid-19 reaching our shores. 😬 283 days ago, we received the devastating news we had to close our doors indefinitely. While we were closed, we spend many days trying to work out the best way to be able to give back at a time where our communities needed it most. 🥰 213 days ago, we opened our doors and welcomed you back, with the pub experience seeming a little different to us all. 🍻 108 days ago, we launched Publinc Communities to connect people, pubs and communities, to make a difference locally and to give back where our communities need it most. 💕 Together, this year, we have faced challenges, some more than others. With our year full of obstacles and uncertainty, the one thing that has remained consistent and been the shining light of our 2020 is the incredible community we are lucky enough to be a part of, a community that has collectively pledged over $198,000 to local causes. 👫 Thanks to you, $198,000 is going towards funding serious social impact from helping to provide shelter for the homeless to helping feed families in need and provide financial support for those suffering life threatening illnesses. Thanks to you, we’re improving the lives of so many people and helping make our community a little brighter. ☀️ Tonight, we kick 2020 to the curb and look to tomorrow with a glass of champagne raised in our hand, hopeful for a better year with endless opportunity and good health for all. Today, October 10th marks World Mental Health Day! 🗓 This is celebrated every year on October 10th to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world. 🌏 We’re proud to announce that Talk2MeBro, an organisation⁠ dedicated to helping reduce the number of males who commit suicide through early intervention has now joined our Publinc Peer list at Unanderra Hotel. This means with your pledges, we can continue to support mental health awareness year round! 🥳

Kids of Macarthur x Publinc Communities
It's been almost 4 whole weeks since Publinc Communities launched in venue's across Sydney, but it certaintly didn’t happen overnight and our brand new platform has been over a year in the making! 😀 When we took the idea for a test drive at The Leumeah Hotel in 2019, we were overwhelmed with the support for the local community! With the help of our wonderful Publinc family pledging their Community points, we were able to donate over $5,700 to the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation to help purchase some life-changing medical equipment!
