Excited to share that Legend Consultants had the privilege of providing civil engineering services for the development of an Early Learning Centre in Tweed, NSW. Safety was a top priority, especially since the site is designed for children. The focus on final surface levels, drainage systems, and maintenance ensured a safe and practical environment for the children.

We delivered engineering solutions for vehicle access, stormwater management, earthworks, and civil services. Our stormwater management design is particularly noteworthy, featuring an Enviro Australis filter chamber that complies with the Work Health and Safety Act and eliminates the need for confined space entry.

We are excited to share our involvement in the development application for a 29-lot residential subdivision in Banora Point, NSW.

At Legend Consultants, we provided comprehensive civil and traffic engineering services, including earthworks, stormwater management, water and sewer reticulation design, and traffic engineering. Our amended development layout took into account bushfire buffers, future road reserve resumptions, environmental buffers, and topographical constraints.

The community title scheme allowed for innovative stormwater management solutions with buried quality and detention devices, optimizing space usage. We also worked closely with council and the local refuse collection entity to address the steep topography and agree on a manageable maximum road grade for kerbside refuse pickup.

We look forward to seeing this development come to life soon.

Exciting progress at the 39-lot rural residential development in Lockyer Valley! Legend Consultants is proud to provide civil engineering services for this project, including water reticulation design and TMR intersection approvals.

The construction phase is well underway, with erosion and sediment controls in place, bulk earthworks progressing smoothly, and stormwater infrastructure being constructed. Despite the relatively flat terrain of the surrounding area, this site boasts hillside aspects that will offer future lot owners extensive and beautiful views of the area.

Exciting progress on the construction of a mine haul road designed by Legend Consultants!

The project team is tackling steep and challenging terrain on the side of a hill where the rock is at surface in most places. The scale and workmanship being put into this road are truly exceptional. It's a testament to the dedication and expertise of everyone involved. Including blasting and streamlined excavation moving 8000m3 a day at times.

From meticulous planning to precise ex*****on, every step of this project demonstrates our commitment to excellence. The result will be a vital infrastructure piece that supports efficient and safe operations in a demanding environment for decades to come.

Safety is our top priority, and we are proud to see the haul road safety bunds being installed with such precision and care. They're almost as if they were slipformed!

Early morning site visits are always worth it when you get to witness the blend of engineering precision and natural beauty! We recently had the pleasure of conducting a 6:30am pre-pour inspection of the reinforcing steel for a portion of a new driveway and buggy path, which includes a stunning cantilever section. The view of the Gold Coast skyline was stunning and made the early start all the more rewarding.

No two sites are the same, and this project is a perfect example of how unique each location can be. The intricate craftsmanship of the reinforcing steel stands as a testament to the skill and dedication of the construction team, competing with the surrounding beautiful scenery.

Another success with this 6 lot subdivision and road widening going into plan sealing. With the heavy rains recently the site looks good with no erosion issues and a solid grass strike to ensure ongoing ground surface protection from erosion. The infiltration trenches next to the rear lot driveways are looking good and the lots have begun to sell already!

We're pleased to share a milestone in our journey of shaping better infrastructure! Our dedicated team at Legend Consultants has successfully designed and gained approval for a 6-lot development with associated frontage road widening Jacobs Well. The site was graced with a 21 pelican flyover during one of the inspections.

The road widening achieves the latest council standards, while maintaining neighbourhood amenity by utilising an old kerb profile for continuity. As the construction nears completion, we’re pleased to have contributed to the development of a vibrant and accessible neighbourhood. This project displays our passion for creating sustainable and well-planned environments.

Good job done by OM Civil completing the new Quarry Road intersection on Stanmore Road for the new Hanson Wolffdene quarry access. Seamlessly done and almost over as quick as it started. The upgraded signalised intersection provides safer access in and out, with geometric improvements for two lanes of B-double trucks turning out for when the new internal access road is complete in early 2024.

We're delighted to share the progress of the construction of civil works for a 5-lot residential development in the beautiful town of Laidley! Our dedicated team at Legend Consultants has meticulously designed and overseen the implementation of essential elements, including earthworks, driveways, stormwater, and flood modelling to lay the foundation for a sustainable and resilient development.

The driveways, crafted for both functionality and for what is buried beneath, are taking shape, enhancing accessibility and a touch of construction efficiency to the development. Buried beneath is the concrete stormwater treatment tank, a testament to our commitment to environmental responsibility. This feature not only ensures effective stormwater management but also aligns with creating developments that harmonize with nature.

A thank you to COZENS REGAN GROUP for their work in the designs of Urban Utilities water and sewer connections. Collaborations like these reinforce the strength of our industry partnerships and elevate the quality of our projects.

As we witness the transformation of this residential development, we extend our gratitude to the entire team at Legend Consultants for their dedication and expertise.

The recent days of rain provided a well timed opportunity to check the functioning of some of our stormwater designs. At 16 Pelican Parade while it was raining there was no ponding on the earthworks or the 80m+ long driveway. The whole site's stormwater is captured on the driveway and adjacent inlet pits into the infiltration tank below the driveway.

Currently only 2 of the 8 lots are not sold or under contract.

Civil engineering in the development sphere provides multiple milestones of satisfaction: design approval, construction commencement, completion, plan sealing and even better repeat clients.

The Salt Development Projects six freehold development at 17 Pelican Parade is nearing completion. The three battleaxe concrete driveways to the rear lots, and the retaining walls are in with the remaining services being installed.

Soon the road widening and verge works will be done for practical completion.

Feeling small in the scale of things compared to the works done so far! In the foreground the batter height is near 40m. Batter protections works yet to be done. The crew on site checking subgrade levels as the bulk excavations break through the north end.

On the other side, the road works are approaching and looking like a road more and more every day.

Hanson Australia's new access road at Wolffdene less than 2 months to being practically complete! OM Civil putting in the hard work to get it all done.

Construction of six freehold lots each over 830m2 is underway 17 Pelican Parade, Jacobs Well. Salt Developments again constructing another quality subdivision with a view to not only satisfying new owners but keeping existing neighbours happy too.

Legend Consultants is pleased to have provided engineering services for the design of the development layout, the road widening to the development frontage, the earthworks and stormwater drainage.

Not quite a bridge but close to it and that is just for a driveway. Two abutments and a centre pier of reinforced concrete blocks with Bondek slabs to construct a new driveway to a property in Ormeau Hills. This project includes earthworks, two ponds, and a raised access for 1% AEP immunity. All done without any tree removal and to create an aesthetic finish that will be posted in a few weeks.

The new Wolffdene Quarry access road is taking shape with the road pavement structure construction underway. Bulk earthworks are running in parallel due to the volume of material that is to be moved to construct this road. Not long now before OM Civil break through the main cut to link the north and south portions for full length pavement construction . . . !

Always good to see the finished product selling having been part of making it a reality, and almost they're half gone! You can use the web address or the QR code to check out the remaining available 850m2 blocks at 16 Pelican Parade, Jacobs Well.

Like watching the grass grow a large project needs a time lapse view of progress to see the differences. This project at Wolffdene is more than half way. The last image in this series of shots is in the main cut with a 90T excavator at the cut face, giving perspective to the extent of cut achieved to date, while there is still about 10m of cut to be excavated at the base of the photo.

DUPLEX! Often not an inspiring thought in your local neighbourhood and even in this case initially received resistance from the neighbours. Now they're very pleased about it and the value increase it brings to the neighbourhood.

Legend Consultants is pleased to have provided civil engineering services for this Clear Island Waters high end development of two units with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms each. Plan Sealing is now in process following the recent successful on/off maintenance inspection with Council.

Resicorp has spared no detail in making sure finishes and design went the extra mile in colouring, lighting, drainage and detail matching of materials. The concrete structures ensure longevity and a solid build.
