Still looking for names on the sheets for GR8s and Summer Shield - a decision will be made mid-week about how many teams we nominate for. These nominations will be based on the number of people expressing an interest at that point, so don't delay over then next few days please.

We need names in during the next 2 weeks so we have an idea of how many teams to nominate. Your cooperation will be very much appreciated.

A bit late posting this, but well done to Mike Hartley, Brian Jones, Wayne Goninan and Rick Williams, winners in the Final of the Senior Fours yesterday. Coming second were Rob Camer, Michael Droder, Glenn Blaine and Grahame North. A great match, came down to the last bowl.

The draw for the Mixed Fours has been done, commencing Saturday 2nd November at 9am.

Another Final coming up, the Senior Fours, will be held Friday 25th October at 1pm.

Getting down to the nitty gritty of our championship year now. This coming Saturday, 19th October sees the Final of the Open C Pairs, between Brent Dawson/Guy Drew & Adrian Elliott/Glenn Blane. Should be a great game, starting at 9am.

Victoria Point Magpies Bowls Club is looking for a Casual Bar/Gaming attendant for between 15 to 20 hours per week on a rotating roster with some weekend work involved.
Must have RSA and RSG certificates, some experience preferred, but training will be provided.

We've just witnessed a cracking Mens Triples Final, the result of which has gone right down to the last bowl. Congratulations to Brian Jones, Rick Williams & Wayne Goninan; commiserations to Col Rackham, Tony Corns & Mike Hartley.

A big shout out to congratulate John McDonald & Bill Hardwick on winning the Mens B Grade Pairs Final, victorious over Ian Shackleton & James Brown. Well done to all four of you for being in the Final.

First, second and third place winners of our Ladies Carnival played on Sunday. Congratulations to all the ladies involved, it was a great success.
