Jeannie’s Peony Broockh 2024 is coming along well…

Busy late night last night in the studio. The Shroom mushroom brooches are coming along well. I love their clean lines, with minimal inking- a little different from my usual, but fun to make. The Life Tree wall art is coming along well- I can imagine it in a young person’s room, or maybe a person who is young at heart, whatever their age!
The release for these pieces will be part of my June release, when my Etsy shop will reopen and theOttopiary will resume in earnest!
Now is the time to let me know if there are any specific pieces you have always wanted me to revisit. For the peony rose lovers, I am working on a Jeannie’s Rose 2024, with LOTS of pieces.

This is the tedious part of unmasking Wallart before the inking…this one is called Hypnofloral-30x35cm. It will be ….BRIGHT.

I am getting back into the fine inking and etching work. These are a few designs I am playing with for the first release. Just rough opportunistic photos while I work.

Well the first cutting and inking run has started for theOttopiary relaunch. Today I decided to start the journey with a Llyrical Llama wallart piece. She will be about 30x35cm when put on her etch rose gold coloured mirror back. A lot of etching, inking and fiddling in this young lady!

New job for me!

Have you all met Llyr, my mum? She will be taking over Earthly Delights Coffee in the coming months as I transition to a fancy pants role in government. Llyr has amazing baking skills and her coffee skills are up with mine! We will stay proudly a Botero cafe and nothing will change except the face you see smiling behind the machine 😍😍😍😍

sigh….it is so me!

Well I guess for me this is a lesson in patience.....and calm. I have temporarily put theOttopiary and OttopiaryWallflowers on holiday whilst some mechanical work is being completed. Low and behold as I am completing my last lot of orders...the tube on my laser has died. Now for those of you who know anything about lasers- this is going to be expensive and painful. It will probably entail a technician coming from the mainland and Tro my trusty machine is out of service until it is fixed.

So back to contingencies- the last orders will be sent to the wonderful Vector Etch this week to be cut, then back home to me to paint and assemble. I apologise for the delays to these orders- it is totally out of my control now.

On the good news front for theOttopiary, Morgaan and her family are joining us to live in Tassie this month and so I will have some much needed help with orders, planning, packing and marketing when all is up and running again.
