STARTTS Wagga Wagga hosted a night of Bush dancing with the The Tin Shed Rattlers at Downside Hall last night. Thanks for joining in everybody. It was a great night. Thank you to Wollundry Rotary and St Aidan's Presbyterian Church for all their generous support - cooking the barbecues, providing chairs and help on the night. A big thank you also to the many community members and volunteers who helped make the night a success.

STARTTS swimming program for young adults
Our youth team had a great day yesterday connecting with new arrival refugee students, parents, teachers and bilingual workers from across three Wagga primary schools. Thanks Darron from the Riverina Environmental Education Centre for a fabulous day.

Wow! What an awesome weekend in Melbourne with our young adult's leadership group, run in collaboration with Wagga Wagga City Library. We made lots of memories and shared lots of great experiences with each other. Here is a sample of what we got up to on our busy weekend.

We also would like to thank Headspace for their special visit to offer support to young people in the community and give them some useful information about their services in Wagga

Multicultural Council of Wagga Wagga will be hosting two information sessions focusing on Self Employment & reporting to Centrelink
If you or your partner are receiving Centrelink payments and have also registered an ABN and are running a business (like Menulog, Uber Driving, Cleaning, interpreting etc) we invite you to attend one of these two information sessions with Centrelink on Tuesday the 23rd of April with lots of important information.
Session 1 will be held between 11:00am – 12:00pm
Session2 will be held between 1:30pm – 2:30pm
The information sessions will be held at the Multicultural Council Offices (18 Station Place)

We had our last youth group for the term this week and had a special taster visit from Shinwakai Karate. Fadhil also came to give some members of our group tips to improve their volleyball skills. Fun times 🤩 see you all next term Tuesdays at equex centre. Starts again 30/04/24

We've been having lots of fun at the STARTTS high school youth group this term. We have been playing team sports like hockey, volleyball and soccer, as well as getting creative and building connections with others. Last week we had a visit from Morgan at PCYC who talked to our year 11s about post school pathways.
