🏃🏽‍♀️The Hume & Hovell, 22km trail run! - “My first trail run!”🏃🏽‍♀️

😫Absolutely Brutal. Nothing could of prepared me for the hill climbs on this course.🤯

😑I went through all the emotions, all the doubts, weakness, and in some parts I was absolutely cruising! 🫠

🤪You cannot explain that feeling when you cross that finish line. It makes it all worth it! 🤪

🥳I will be back next year to give it another crack!🥳

🥰It’s not just me, it’s a family effort! And without the support of them I could not of done it!🥰

🤩My hat goes off to all the runners, especially those that took on the 100 mile!!! I could only imagine what it took to complete that! Such a great ran event, the volunteers and organizers were just brilliant 🤩

🐰🐢FAST? Not so fast!

🐢I Just did a slow 8.2kms! No where, where I need to be.

🐰With only 4.5 weeks to go, I need to put in some hard yards! And keep up the strengthening and conditioning at the gym. And eat!

🧠My mind is in it, let’s just hope my legs and back are to!
Either way, I will finish this race! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

😫I was in pain after my 14km run today. It absolutely depleted every fiber and cell in my body.
🤨Not every run is going to feel good, but these s**t runs do however make you stronger.
😴I had a 2hr nap and refueled, so here’s hoping to a quick recovery.
🤩I’m 8 weeks out and counting from my 22km trial run. Time to run some hills and a lot more conditioning.

I am in week 6/6 of “One for the Ladies Challenge” I have put my running aside for this. I’ve consistently been going to the gym 3 times a week. I have only ran once a week! Today I ran just over 10kms (it’s been awhile)! And did an 8km PB on Saturday. My conditioning is still soo on point. The programmed workouts work! It’s made my running game soo much stronger!!
