Apprentice Carpenter
Irons Builders are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join their team. 1st, 2nd and 3rd year apprentices are welcome to apply.
The role
This role will expose you to all aspects of the trade, with a focus on residential and insurance work. This is a fantastic opportunity to commence your trade with a well-established locally owned and operated company. Your responsibilities will include:
• Use carpentry tools and equipment
• Plan and organise work
• Read and interpret plans and drawings
• Carry out measurements and calculations
• Follow safety guidelines and comply with WHS legislation
What are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills or qualities:
• Be prepared for physical work
• Excellent communication skills
• Take pride in workmanship
• Be motivated and enthusiastic
• Ability to work well in a team situation
• Must hold a current WHS White Card
• Ability to commit to an Apprenticeship
• Valid current drivers’ licence

This is an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC31912). Working full-time, you will be given time on the job to attend TAFE.
