I’ve learnt a lot in the last couple of months…the major one is to not get excited until you sign on the dotted line. Unfortunately after trying to negotiate with a landlord that is not willing to negotiate, I’ve been advised not to sign the lease on the shop I would turn into my gallery. Very disappointing, not just for me but for everyone who would have been involved. Oh, the plans I had.. 😏 So, no gallery for me in the near future.. but that leaves me plenty of time to work on my next exhibition which is 3-6th October at White Bay Cruise Terminal with

The grey-blue ocean stretches endlessly under a moody sky, where the horizon blurs into the distance. Gentle waves roll in, their crests tinged with silver, reflecting the soft light of an overcast day. The sea seems almost serene, with a quiet depth that invites contemplation, as if holding secrets beneath its calm surface. The air is cool, carrying the faint scent of salt, while the sound of the waves creates a soothing, rhythmic melody that echoes across the vast expanse.

Memories of Sicily. This little 30cm porthole was influenced by one sultry evening when I was staying in the Costa di Carro on the island of Sicily. It was such a still evening with a very slight breeze as we watched the little sail boat sailing slowly along the shore.
