Thank you for the catch up! We have been working on this for a few years and we’ve just finished another install at our main processing plant. We can now take more produce in daily with a faster output. We’re all good guys! Feeling very thankful that we got what we asked for, Jasper was a fizzer! We’ve had far worse unpredicted electrical storms. We’re getting slowly back up and running today there’s huge amounts of rain still coming down, we had quite literally barricaded what we could to protect as much as we could in the event it wasn’t a fizzer. Back in full swing tomorrow and over the weekend to catch up! Enjoying a cuppa and cookie 😊💕✨

An ominous sunset yesterday here at Natural Evolution HQ. We have been preparing for Tropical Cyclone Jasper since Wednesday last week, our 7th day today of 17 hour days securing buildings, items in the paddock and dispatching as many orders as possible. Definitely starting to feel .
Our thoughts are with everyone in the path of the cyclone and particularly our farmers, cyclones cause tremendous damage and it can take up to 12 months for supply of produce to return to normal.
We are doing everything we can by tripling our intake of bananas for processing later this week as growers have already started cutting bananas to save them from being damaged by the weather.
We’re feeling a bit of apprehended nostalgia, Cyclone Larry (cat 5 Tropical Cyclone) is what prompted us to create an alternative industry for produce, that is how we discovered the richest natural source of resistant starch. The old saying of an Aunt rings in our ears ‘out of something bad, comes something good’.

Any mail orders via our online shop today and tomorrow will be dispatched as soon as it is safe to do so, at this stage it looks like Thursday or Friday, customers have been contacted directly.

We are certainly grateful that the cyclone has lost some of its intensity and are praying to the weather gods that this one turns out to be what us Far North Queenslanders would call a ‘big fizzer’. Stay safe ✌🏼

Oh how banana plants love the long days and warm nights just like us here at Natural Evolution 😁🌱🏭☀️ 🍌Our first day of Summer started a little differently with this discovery … of the millions of banana plants we have seen this is a first! One of our ornamental banana plants has thrown not one but two bunches!!😱 We can’t even find the odds of it happening (yes double bananas are quite common but not double bunches!). In some cultures banana plants are symbols of good luck, prosperity and health to the home. We’re going to take that as a double! So good luck, prosperity and health to you all ✨💕

This banana plant despite being cut down, continued to push through that set back by growing a central core and producing a bunch.
Now it’s not the biggest bunch or has the most hands or anything particularly noteworthy by any means! BUT …. Despite this plant being totally cut down it’s pushed through to finish its task and complete its purpose. That really is a great outlook for life 🌱✨ 💪🏼⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

- handful of frozen mixed berries
- 250ml of milk (I used cashew for this one)
- 1 tablespoon of plus
- Blend until smooth and enjoy!

90 second bread! Nope not kidding, it’s actually a thing! After discovering it earlier in the week from one of our lovely customers we decided to try it ourselves! Its amazing! We’re looking forward to putting a few different spins on it!
All you need is 👇🏼
💚3 tablespoons of green banana flour
💚1/4 teaspoon baking powder
💚1 tablespoon of melted butter
💚1 egg
💚Salt and pepper or herbs to taste

Combine in a small glass bowl (flat bottom, diameter approx 12cm) mix really well and place in the microwave for 90 seconds!
Remove carefully from microwave (very hot) and flip onto a plate to cool, slice through the middle to make two rounds, toast or pan fry if desired.

This one here is topped with ricotta, leafy salad and mushrooms- Bellissimo! 😘
