To say I was overwhelmed by the support at the launch of my keynote speaking is an understatement.
The feedback was positive and I know it wasn't always easy for people to hear the content.
It is however a topic that must be spoken about in order to understand the impact of trauma and the behaviours that are often displayed by young people who have experienced sexual abuse.
My presentation includes the challenges of ongoing mental health issues and managing anxiety and depression.
I discuss roles throughout my life and how I utilised resilience and positivity to create positive outcomes>
I talk about leadership and how I became a member of Parliament.
This is an opportunity to support your students and staff to work with people who have experienced trauma throughout their lives.
