First two clinics down and they were great! Lots of fun and lots of learning. Thanks to Timboon Stadium for the court but thanks mostly too all the kids who came along. Look forward to our third session next Friday and hopefully a regular each school holidays!

It’s time for a Nickubis March madness deal, for any new bookings for the month of March I have a bundle deal, 3 sessions for $40 the first session is 30 mins evaluation and goal setting and the next two are 45mins and putting it all into gear. (One on ones are still outdoors aswell) inbox me if your interested!!

Also we do offer coach consulting aswell, if your a new coach and would like some help, tips hints, drills anything to help you take your team to the top, reach out and we can organise to come to your training and start the process. Usually it’s at least two sessions with options to extend based on how comfortable you are to implement the new learnings.

Do I have some news for you all, due to court hire and availability and having to use outdoor courts for 1 on 1's, I am going to discount 1 on 1 pricing when we are outdoors. Just a couple of action shots from yesterday, it was the timboon boys third session, and it was shooting. We focused on form and technique and how we need to hold our form as we move further away from the basket if we go too far and change our form it’s not beneficial.(they don’t like the no threes rule) We also again spoken about how important footwork is even when catching and shooting and laying up at speed. Here’s a couple of snaps from last weekend with the timboon boys, this was their second session, after session one where we built a skill base understanding, session two was all about dribbling and footwork. Tomorrow we go to session 3 which to the boys delight will be all about shooting!

Thought I’d better give a bit of a bio for those who don’t know me in basketball and coaching terms.

My names Nick Alexandrou and here is a brief playing and coaching resume.

Playing:
12 years bigv over 150 games played for Chelsea Gulls, Mornington breakers, Maccabi warriors and Warrnambool Seahawks. Won a bigv championship in 2010 with Chelsea.

Coaching:
Coached under 14 boys metro 4 team to championship
Coaches under 16 boys vjbl teams
(Not basketball) have been a senior mens football coach as well as an assistant coach in senior men.

I won’t go on talking about accolades etc but hopefully this gives a small picture of my experience when it comes to basketball and being a coach.

Welcome to Nickubis Basketball Gods, Coaching. This is where we take you from zero to God, on the basketball court. We do individual 1 on 1 coaching as well as small groups up to 4. We are based in the Warrnambool area but will go out to as far as Portland, Hamilton and Colac. Our aim is not to be your shooting partner, we will assess your current level, go through your basketball goals and from that we create a training program designed to get you to the next level. If you just missed out on the squad or a looking to get more minutes, we will take you there. We cater to ages 12 and up.
