- Athlete Education (Sport Psychology, Nutrition, Sports Integrity, Injury Prevention and Rehab
- Sport Science (musculoskeletal screenings with aligned fitness programming, fitness testing)
- Exercise Physiology (strength and conditioning)
- Opportunities via an integrated net

Our next SWAS Fitness Testing Day is almost here!

This is a chance for our athletes to see how far they have come in 2024 and take the opportunity to set new goals as we move towards 2025.

SWAS ASCEND Tennis Athletes will be taking part in a joint training session with WestVic this Sunday 8th of September at Hamilton Lawn Tennis Club.
The session will commence at 12pm and conclude at approximately 2pm.

Our first ASCEND Clay Target Shooting session will be taking place this Saturday 31st of August from 10am - 2pm at Noorat Gun Club.
If you are yet to submit your athlete contract and payment please be sure to do so before the day

On Sunday 4th of August, SWAS was proud to officially launch its APEX program with elite athletes, Andrew Harrison - Wheelchair Rugby, Laetisha Scanlan - Clay Target Shooting, and Miriana Perkins - Aerial Skiing, providing advice and insights to our aspiring athletes. Congratulations to the inaugural group of athletes.
Applications remain open throughout the year, with a maximum of 25 athletes being supported. SWAS currently has provision for nine more state or national level athletes.

Miriana hails from Hamilton and competes in Aerial Skiing where she represented Australia at the 2023 FIS Junior World Championships in Austria. She was also an Australian Gymnastics team member before switching to aerial skiing in 2020.
Miriana will be joining our other guest athletes in a Q&A session to speak about her experiences as an emerging young athlete.
We strongly encourage all community members to attend to hear from Miriana and our other star guest speakers.

Laetisha is one of our three star athletes who will be joining us on the day and will be part of a Q&A session to speak on her decorated career.
