Well done to our two teams who did an amazing job today at the Little Athletics Victoria State Cross Country relay championships. The U/11 boys took the silver medal behind a strong team from Werribee in a closely contested race. The U/9 boys performed well in their first outing at a state cross country event to finish 6th in another close contest. Well done to all athletes involved and for the parents and friends/family that made the trip down to Langwarrin to support the day! 💙💛🏃🏃‍♂️🏃

On Tuesday night we held our AGM at the Brauerander Park Pavilion.

It was great to see many new faces in attendance and a large and strong committee coming on board for the season ahead.

WLAC wish to thank our outgoing committee members, Julia Mahoney Gilchrist, Richard Wade, Grant Howland and Barry Clarke, who have decided not to continue in the 2024-2025 season. Each have given a long term commitment to our centre and we wish them well in their new direction.

Our New Committee cant wait to get into action and will work hard in the coming months to get our venue, equipment and program, ready to welcome all current and new members back in early October, following on from the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A great event that our club was involved in last year which is open to U9's and above. Both our teams competed really well last year with the U10 boys taking Gold and our U11 Girls taking Bronze. It takes place at Cruden Farm, Langwarrin on the 8th of June. This is a teams event so we would need a team of 3 to enter. WARRNAMBOOL LITTLE ATHLETICS INC.

The Annual General Meeting of Warrnambool Little Athletics Inc. will be held on Tuesday May 7th, 2024, 6.00pm at Brauerander Park Pavilion.

If you have an interest in helping out on the committee or having your say on the operations of our Centre please register you intention to attend.

As usual all positions for the Warrnambool Little Athletics Inc. Committee will be declared vacant and nominations are now being sought for season 2024/25.

Well done to former and current Warrnambool Little Athletics club members on their recent performances and achievements at the 2024 Athletics Australia National Championships in Adelaide. What an incredible experience for those involved to share the same track as Australia’s finest in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics. From our local Warrnambool track learning skills at Little Athletics Victoria events locally and across the state, to the big stage in an Olympic year is a fantastic acomplishment for our athletics community! Well done to all involved 🥇💯👍🏽

A massive well done to all the Warrnambool Athletes that competed at the 2024 Stawell Gift. Some fabulous results, kids having fun and fabulous seeing each of them supporting each other and cheering from the sidelines.

What a fabulous season, thank to all the parents for getting your athletes to each weekly meet, to all our volunteers our weekly meets couldn’t happen without your help, and to all our athletes for giving it your all each week.
Tonight we farewelled Donna after 21 years volunteering with our u6/7 age groups. Thank you for all the time you have given to the club and the kids. You will be missed.
What a fabulous night to have our season 23/24 presentations and some family fun with a bbq and icy poles.
