Do you judge your workout by how many Calories you burn, for it to be an effective workout??
So often we believe that we need to be performing at your best every day and in every session.
But unfortunately there are simply too many stresses and variables in our everyday life to be able to 'kill it' every day.
Change your mindset from trying to smash it every time you enter the gym to "Your best on the day is good enough."
If you're going through the wars at work and have your hands full at home, getting the bare minimum done in the gym is more than acceptable.
At those points, training is a mechanism for sometimes escape, stress relief and weight maintenance.
On the flip side, if your ducks are in a row and you're feeling yourself, your time in the gym will likely be spent making marked progress, hitting personal bests and generally riding the fitness train.

Often when starting our health and fitness journey’s, we can look for quick fixes and become disheartened if we don’t see and feel results quickly. Similarly, even if you have been training all your life, it is easy to lose confidence and motivation when experiencing a set back.
At Wilson Athletic, we don’t believe in quick fixes, nor do we believe in set backs. We’ve all had times where we’ve been unwell, holidays where we’ve eaten too much, and times when we are feeling pretty exhausted due to periods of our lives being particularly hectic.
You won’t feel and train your best every single day. There will be times where you feel as though your progress has stagnated.
This is all perfectly normal! The most important thing is to not lose sight of the bigger picture. Your goal is ultimately to lead a healthier, happier lifestyle, and consistency is all that is required in order to do so.
