Canterbury had multiple students in Finals and placed in the Top 3 in most events. 🏅

Results were a little slow coming out, so I will put up a full list tomorrow of today’s events when they are finalised. ❤️💙

Congratulations to our Canterbury Students who completed QSS State XC Championships.

Peter placed 6th. 💪

Patrick placed 12th in his first State XC competition 🙌⚡️ and medaled in his team relay!

Leila placed 16th in her first State XC competition 🐍❤️💙 and medaled in her team relay!

XC Captain Emily Webb placed 26th and won a gold medal 🥇 in her time trial.

James - Bravely placed 38th and won a gold medal 🥇 in his time trial and this was his first State XC competition!

Unfortunately, both Finn and Mia suffered an injury and DNF, so I wish both of our super stars a speedy recovery. 💙❤️🙌

Sometimes it’s not how we perform on the day, but how we come back!

Canterbury won lots of medals and more importantly great team spirit with lots of smiles.

Relays gives our students the ability to work together as a team. Our school spirit can not be taught it is created and it is a blessing to watch our students shine together!

𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐕𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬

As announced in the 2024-25 Queensland Budget the value of the vouchers will be increased from $150 to $200 from the 1st of July.

The number of vouchers has also been increased from up to 50,000 to up to 200,000. The additional 150,000 vouchers will be available for Queensland Children and young people aged between 5 and 17 years to participate in sport and active recreation.

One day she did a backflip in the backyard and completely ruptured her knee and had knee surgery.

Canterbury won overall school division champion 🙌🙏❤️💙 with a clean sweep!
