WERRIBEE LIBRARY TEMPORARY CLOSURE: The library will close from Monday 2 September until early 2025, while critical works are underway on the Wyndham Cultural Centre upgrade.

During this time, we will operate a shuttle service from the Werribee Library to the Hoppers Crossing Library at Pacific Werribee between 10am-4.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

The Winter Street Party is returning to Wyndham for another year and we can't wait to host a Silent Disco in the forecourt, directly in front of the Wyndham Cultural Centre.

Work on the Wyndham Cultural Centre upgrade will commence in the second half of 2024, and there will be some service disruption to operations:

- Wyndham Art Gallery is now closed
- Wyndham Cultural Centre Theatre will be closed to the public from today
- Werribee Library will remain open while works are underway. There will, however, be planned closures during some critical stages of the project. These will be communicated to the public well in advance.

Tjaabi–Flood Country: A powerful intercultural music and theatre performance by Ngarluma artist Patrick Churnside, capturing the urgencies of climate change and cultural pressures facing Aboriginal communities in the Pilbara. It's a cultural practice that Patrick is sharing with Aboriginal communities across the country.

Produced by and ten years in the making in the Pilbara, Tjaabi–Flood Country captures the urgencies of the 21st Century as the globe warms and the climate changes. Patrick captures the many cultural and ecological pressures facing Aboriginal people in places like the Pilbara in the face of ever-increasing pressures for new minerals, rare earth, and more ore. He does so through breathtaking music, profoundly personal narrative, and humour that cuts to the bone.

to present their youth theatre program, Edge Ensemble here in Wyndham.

Edge Ensembles is a free theatre program for young people to learn performing arts fundamentals and create their own original theatre work for their communities. In 2024, Wyndham Edge’s Ensemble will meet for weekly sessions held at the Old Shire Offices in Werribee for young people aged 13-17 years old.
