Echidnacia are Wollongong's biggest underground rock band!

The 5 piece, originally formed in UOW accommodation, found their footing early in the year, in a granny flat out the back of Keiraville. The band is heavily inspired by Jet, Oasis and Led Zeppelin, forming their own sound and leading the charge towards Australia's new rock sound. The lead singer, Hugo, is taken right from the magazine pages of Rolling Stone. He lives and breaths rock. The rest of the band have an emphatic connection with crowd, as if the crowd is a 6th member of the band.

Echidnacia will be joined by friends such as Gong’s own, The Summer Guppys, as well as Sydney based rock band, Seriea for an unforgettable night at La La La’s on the 23rd of October

Through Today is Chimers' second long player, ten tracks of raw honest aggression capturing the band at their zeitgeist: right here and right now, as melody and power merge seamlessly into one. Recorded and mixed by Jonathan Boulet (Party Dozen, Body Type, Loose Fit) Through Today is a significant leap forward from Chimers' self-released and self-titled 2021 debut.

Traces of late-eighties post-hardcore and alterna-sounds (Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Hüsker Dü) seep in and out of the album, but with Chimers' direct and no-unnecessary-fills approach, the sound is always uniquely theirs. Special guests on the album include Kirsty Tickle from Party Dozen and Jordan Ireland of The Middle East.

WA rock band Great Gable are no strangers to traversing the globe. However, their new record, Small Fry, is a distinctly home state affair. Recording for the first time since 2018 back home in Perth and working with Dave Parkin at Blackbird Studio for the first time, lead singer Alex Whiteman, guitarist Matt Preen, bassist Christopher Bye and drummer Madi Hanley, have produced a record that shows the rest of the world what makes their home so special.

Small Fry is simultaneously a salve for many tender souls, while also being wholly appropriate as the backdrop to a rowdy pub session. Last Ride Records presents: (USA) Live in Australia. Since forming in 2020, every single second of music recorded by Koyo has been completely and utterly genuine. Formed in Long Island, New York by five childhood friends who grew up together—vocalist Joseph Chiaramonte, guitarists Harold Griffin and TJ Rotolico, bassist Stephen Spanos, and drummer Salvatore Argento—Koyo’s music is the sound of Stony Brook summers flipping between Taking Back Sunday and Silent Majority while driving to the beach, living in songs that feel just like home. Pineal is a fusion band of young musicians who specialise in RnB, Soul and hip hop speckled throughout with jazz influences. The band’s name derives from the pineal gland of the brain, responsible for heightened intuition and is thought be the gateway to the soul- reflecting the way the band focuses on the “feel” of the music. The core of the band consists of drums, keys and bass featuring vocals and saxophone.

August Moon is a singer-songwriter located in Wollongong, NSW. He has been writing music since the age of 11, and has placed in several songwriting competitions, most recently placing second with his song “Not For Me” in the ACMF National Songwriting Competition. His style can be most succinctly described as indie-folk-coming-of-age-midwest-emo-slightly-country-influenced-but-we-don’t-talk-about-it-pop.
