A closing date in early December will be announced very soon!

The salon is currently inundated with bookings and I ask that once an appointment is confirmed, if you can't make it on the day to please give me as much notice as possible. Any notice half hour prior or past your appointment time will result in the cancellation of a gift voucher. I am usually very flexible but being in the second trimester of a difficult pregnancy and having other clients miss out due to no show appointments is a disappointment 😞

Onto better news, I currently have 15% off current product that is sitting on my shelf. Now I'm not going to leave you high and dry and yes I will be concerned for you skin health whilst I am away, so if there is anyone needing any product that I don't have in stock please please let me know as I will be placing a final order later this month to keep your skin glowing through summer!

My family and I will be moving for an opportunity that will better us for the future. Unfortunately this opportunity is too good to pass up.

It's that time again, school holidays! Which means extended trading hours as there's no crazy dash out the door to pick up my army of children 😂

Let's discuss EXFOLIATION!

What does exfoliation do? Why do I need to exfoliate my skin if it's always oily or dry? How do I exfoliate properly?

These are some of the most common questions I receive from my clients and I'd like to help you understand the importance of exfoliating for all skin types and why.

Simply put, exfoliating helps keep your skin soft, healthy and smooth by buffing away and removing dead skin cells. Our skin naturally sheds dead skin cells every 30 days or so. When this happens new skin cells form the top layers of the skin. If those dead skin cells don't shed, it can result in dry, dull and flakey patches. Exfoliating helps speed up that process by removing the dead skin cells, uncovering the new cells underneath.

Dependent on your skin type exfoliating is recommended at least twice a week. It's all about balance, whilst it's important to buff away dead cells you also need to take care not to strip away too many of your skins natural oils.

When exfoliating please be mindful, scrubbing harder does not mean cleaner skin. Let the products do their work, opt for a gentle exfoliant such as our fruit enzyme scrub!

What are the benefits of regular exfoliation? Well on top of getting rid of the dead skin, it can improve moisture and hydration levels, minimise blemished skin and breakouts, stimulate blood flow and fight the aging process. Get to scrubbing ladies!

Our Evenskin Fruit Enzyme mask is infused with a blend of pineapple and papaya enzymes. It is one of my most favoured products in the range next to the botanical clay mask! Simply add water to form a creamy paste, gently rub on the skin for 1-2 minutes and leave to dry for 5-10. It is best to use immediately after adding water as the fruit enzymes will activate and are most potent. Available to purchase in salon for only $38.50!

Sincere apologies for the delay!

These were due for release 2 weeks ago but as winter arrived so did the flu in our household 🤧 The flu definitely hit a lot harder then covid did! I'm happy to report that everybody has made a full recovery!

Well Winter has well and truly arrived! And so have our new release winter packages!

Winter is a harsh season especially on our skin. Cold wind and freezing temperatures draw out the moisture leaving our skin sensitive, dry and dehydrated. These packages have been designed to give your body and face the much needed hydration it lacks during these colder months.

The candles are lit, tea is on, electric blanket is on the bed and I must admit winter spa treatments are my favourite 😍 it's the getting up to leave afterwards part that's hard.

Its great to see the appointment book filling up for the week 😍 one thing I do ask though is that you respect my time just as I respect yours. Life is busy, chaotic at times! I get it as I live this on a daily basis, running a home, school pick ups, cooking, cleaning, washing, it's crazy right 🤯

I ask that you please provide as much notice as you can when cancelling an appointment, 24 hours is ideal but I get it when things pop up unexpectedly. Some form of contact would be great instead of no-shows or no contact. I then have more time I can spend with my family and of course, cooking, cleaning, washing and folding 😂

REOPENING WEDNESDAY 1 JUNE!!

Hi everybody! It's been a minute, life's been pretty hectic behind the scenes but I am happy to announce that Revival is reopening for bookings on Wednesday 1 June!

Online bookings will be ready to go by this evening. To those who have been patiently waiting, thank you! Moving a home and a business whilst still trying to manage your family is not a simple process, a few bruises, couple of extra grey hairs and very sore muscles later, its done 😂

I will now be taking bookings 2 Sundays per month and as always if there is not an available time that suits online please do not hesitate to inbox and we can arrange a time that suits.

To my loyal Dapto clientele, thank you for you consistent support 🥰 for most what started out as a visit to the salon formed into some beautiful friendships and I value each and every one of you. I look forward to seeing you all in the new space and of course catching up.

Revival Beauty Bar is moving! We are relocating to a new address in the Shellharbour area. It's a bigger exciting new space and I am so excited to reveal it to you in the coming weeks.
