Why it’s so important to understand your skins pH levels.

1. All products have different pH levels

2. All skin treatments have different pH levels

3. Your pH level is a indicator of the health of your skin

4. The health of your skin depends on the treatment that can be performed.

5. Your pH level can explain your concerns (dry/dehydrated/acne/redness/ageing)

6. If you have acne you need a balance of acid products to control the oil and if you are dry you need alkaline products to hydrate.

7. Your skin is always changing (aging, hormones, environmental factors, medications)

This is why your skin therapist should observe and assess your skin before every skin treatment.

When clients come in and say “they have been using soap!” 🙉🙉🙉🙉Skin therapist then have to balance the skins pH level before performing any advanced skin treatments and will do this by implementing correct products or safe skin treatments.
