Many 🤩 THANKS 🤩 to everyone, including new and returning customers who came and supported our Sales Day Spectacular and all of the members who came and helped out ensuring the day ran smoothly. It was such a great day with so many different Bromeliads to choose from! I saw many, many full boxes of broms going out the door on their way to their new home!

We will be welcoming guest speaker, Greg Aizlewood from Queensland, who will give a presentation on ‘Bromeliads in Habitat’. 🤩

What a great guest speaker we had at our November meeting! We learned all about bees and honey and maybe a thing or two about the birds and the bees of bees. It was definitely very interesting, I know I learned a lot of "Bee things" that I didn't know about before.
Louis from Kel-Bee Apiaries certainly knows his stuff seeing as he has been doing this since he was 9 years old!! We got to taste some of Louis Kelbert's honey and it was quite delicious! If you are interested in his honey or organising a talk, I have included links to his pages below.

We're all setup at the Corrimal Uniting Church (4 Russell St, Corrimal) and ready to go at 9am tomorrow morning for our 29th Annual Spring Show! 🤩 Thanks to everyone who helped during the day! It was a great effort from everyone and the end product is a beautiful hall filled with a large variety of stunning Bromeliads.
We will be there Saturday 22nd 9am- 3pm and Sunday 23rd 9am - 2pm
You can see our members` competition plants on display, a beautiful display of broms and other complementing plants, LOTS of broms for sale at fantastic prices and a raffle with some great prizes! 🤩

Plant Lovers, there's less than a week to go 🤩 Saturday 23rd and Sunday the 24th of September 2023 is our 29th Annual Spring Show! The Illawarra Bromeliad Society will be showing all things Bromeliads over the weekend.

There will be a myriad of Bromeliads to buy (cash sales only) along with pots and books etc, a beautiful display to see, "For the Love of Broms', our members` award winning competition plants will be on display and we will be holding a raffle with some great prizes, tickets are only $1!

A massive thank you to everyone who was involved with our Sales Day on Saturday, 29th of April. We had such an amazing turnout! Everyone who turned up early to setup and for all of those who came in the wet weather to check out our Bromeliads and take them home, it would not have been a successful day without you. 🤩
