Thanks to those who supported our plant sale today....it was a terrific day, as always we met some really lovely people. No more plant sales til at least august now when spring arrives and our garden is looking more like this photo

PLANT SALE This coming Saturday 25th May at 48 Tongarra Rd, Albion Park Rail from 9am. Mostly succulents and I have loads of them too, priced at only $3 each or 4 plants for $10. I will have other plants for sale too but it's mostly all about the succulents....evergreen cheer for winter. See you then...spread the word.

More of the same.....summer crops are starting to slow a bit....just a bit. Look out for our plant sales starting mid march weather permitting. In nsw autumn is the new spring...well that's just my opinion lol. Spring comes and goes so quick, the hot weather usually arrives way too soon for my garden. Autumn, though is bursting with new growth....its a perfect time to be out in the garden.

Every 2nd day this is what we've been picking from our garden......loads of beans blanched and in the freezer ready for cooler days. 95% of these were grown from seed. Our summer veggie garden we just love you💗

Back from two weeks holidays and straight out in the garden to find these goodies.....Happy New Gardening year everybody💗 I'm so keen to get back out into the garden, to have regular plant/craft sales and keep you posted on what's going on in the garden. Last year was a bit topsy turvy for sowandgrow....and we got a tad busy lol. We have totally transformed our gardens, its an ongoing project but mostly completed now, we are so thrilled with the results. Also as perhaps some of you know I am a swimming instructor and am in partnership with my wonderful husband who is a carpenter, they are my main jobs but last year I took on a second part time job which I thought was going to be wonderful but didn't work out as planned (that's a long story). All good, you never know til you have a go lol.......2024 I am still doing my usual jobs but am so keen to have regular plant sales, starting soon......Vic and I just love our community and love to share our garden with others. We both have a passion for making and creating...this year look out for our handmade items for sale at our plant sales. 💗💗💗

The summer crops are starting to do their thing.....its taken a while, I think because of our weird weather🙃🤣 but they are taking off now........these are are all grown from seed. .au

Just a few today.......but they will taste so yum with yoghurt tonight.....dreaming of dessert already this morning 🤣

Cornflower: comes in pinks, whites and blues, they will be available soon at our plant sales...the second photo is how our babies grow....they don't look much but from seed to newspaper pot to straight in the garden a very easy to care for annual to add cheer to your place..

We had a lovely holiday with family but are now back and getting busy.....look out for our updates about plant sales and daily plant profiles with info about the plants for sale.

Cleome, or spider flower.....comes in beautiful pinks, mauves, whites and will be available soon at our plant sales ready for colour in your garden all summer long as they are tough ones for hot weather.....even their seed pods are beautiful.

Hollyhocks are just so beautiful.....towering up to 2 or more metres high, they look fabulous in the back of a garden bed or like this photo of ours just roaming free......they are an annual or bi annual and so easy to care for and the beneficial bug luv them too.....coming soon to our plant stall 😊

PLANT PROFILE:.....Lobelia.....a ever faithful hardy annual that self seeds easily....here's some I've grown in an old watering can...I will have lobelia's ready to add a splash of colour at your place too....ready for sale at our plant sales in the coming weeks.....

Introducing a garden tough plant and a cute one too.....jelly bean sedum is a type of succulent which means it will mostly thrive on neglect. Gorgeous in hanging baskets or as a simple tiny single plant specimen....they will be on sale soon for only $2 each. THIS IS THE 1ST OF DAILY PLANT PROFILES I WILL BE INTRODUCUNG TO SOW AND GROW FRIENDS 😊🌼
