We feel so special to have been treated to a private tasting of Charles Heidsieck Champagne by Dearne Mcandrew and Robert Oatley Wines.
Unfortunately we couldn’t share it with you this year but let us tell you now Friday 25th October 2024 will be an occasion not to be missed. Our booking system opens soon. Book it in asap. Will be a not to be missed event.

We are proud as punch to announce - our bubbles and beverage consultant Jane Ferrari has been awarded the “Legend of the Vine” award by the Wine Communicators of Australia Inc. here she is being presented with the award by Mr Pete Barry from Jim Barry Wines.
We know already what a true gem we have working with us. Jane’s knowledge of the grape and its capability, along with her storytelling ability always leaves us craving for more.
We are the luckiest venue in the country (and the only one) to have Jane’s expertise overseeing our beverage list.
She will be on site in Balthazar for our first days of trade - happening soon. She will be there to mentor and support our staff and to have a chat with our customers - so please avail of this VERY special time, and make the most of being in the company of Australia’s most respected wine expert.

We were lucky enough to be invited to the Charles Heidsieck Champagne masterclass today as part of the Robert Oatley Wines Taste and Discover event on the worlds most beautiful harbour. We are looking forward to serving the Brut Reserve and sharing our learnings with you soon.

Howdy Folks,
Just a quick update on progress.
Our design is not quite cookie cutter and we have had a few hurdles with our builders in getting it right.
We can only apologise for the continued delays but we know it will be worth it in the end.
Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support and patience. We think we have overcome the big hurdles now. Fingers crossed we are on the home straight with the winning post in sight.
It’s not worth doing if we don’t get it right.
