Unanderra Scout Group

This is to advise that Unanderra Scout Group will not be taking any members as there are no leaders or youth members in the group you can still contact me on the same phone number listed in the page or email me with the email address provided I am now leader in charge of 1st Dapto Scout Group situated in 28 Bann Bann St Dapto the group meets on Monday nights at 6:30pm to 8pm Cubs and Joeys and Scouts meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm -9pm. I am also the Cub Leader at this group as well as Leader in Charge of this group. Fees will be $40.00 if paid by week 5 after that it will be $45.00 there will be state fees also but before anyone worries about that there is a 4 week trail period which is no charge to see if you like it then we will talk money after the trail period. We are also looking for leaders to join us especially female leaders and some male leaders. Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.

This is an announcement regarding the group and I am sad to announce that Unanderra Scout Group is now being managed by 1st Dapto due to having no members left in the group except for myself and the group leader. I have now transferred to the 1st Dapto Group to become the cub leader for this group and also the leader in charge of 1st Dapto Group. You can still contact me on 0400665258 or email me at [email protected] we are going to look after the Unanderra community as well as the Dapto community. This group has a Joey section comprised of children 5years old to 8years old. 5 year olds have to have started school to join at 8 years old the Joey will advance to the cub section comprising of 8 years old to 11 years old both these sections meet on a Monday night at 5:30pm till 7pm for cubs that may change to 6:30pm to 8pm.Then after cubs they will advance to Scouts at the age of 11 years to 15years then they will be venturers which this group doesn’t have a Venturers section or a Rover Section but the other Dapto group does have Venturers. Contact me and I will pass you onto the correct leader to talk to for the section you wish to join and I look forward to seeing you all at 1st Dapto. Scouts meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm to 9pm. Fees are $25.00 per term if paid before week 5 after that it will be $30.00 there will also be state fees but there will be a 4 week trial period free of charge to see if you like it then you become a full member after that. Good morning everyone we are back for Term 2 but due to myself being the sole leader of this group and our very low number of youth members we are combining with 1st Dapto for Term 2 to hopefully build up our group and hopefully get some more leaders for both 1st Dapto and Unanderra as the cub leader at 1st Dapto is a trainee and can’t be left on her own while training. If anyone wishes to join our group you still can but we are meeting at 1st Dapto scout hall situated at 28 Bann Bann St Dapto if you want to join Unanderra you will be invested into Unanderra group or if you want to join 1st Dapto you will be invested into that group the idea is to build up both groups and doing fun things at the same time hopefully this won’t be for long but I welcome your enquiries and welcome you into our group for the future.

With so many varied activities you are bound to discover new interests and make plenty of new friends along the way! 4 week free trial available and active kid rebate accepted better used on state fees. We only have a Cub section and a Scout section this means we cannot accept anyone under the age of 8 and anyone over the age of 15. Cubs are 8 years to 11 years and Scouts are 11 years to 15 years. We currently meet on a Monday night 6:30pm to 8pm for Cubs and 6:30pm to 8:30pm for Scouts. Contact me on 0400665258 or email me on [email protected]. We are also looking for new leaders at the moment I am running the group single handed and that is not easy.
