Something different tomorrow, factory will be closed and I’ll be at Bellambi beach with the layback longboarding boys for their winter classic. I’ll have a few bits and pieces down there if you need anything but call down check out the surfing and the pop up store.

Something new for 2024 The Piglet, a modern log that is easier to surf that a traditional pig, the modified outline and the rounded pin allows you to turn from further up the board. Making rail to rail adjustments easier when your setting up your nose ride. Available in the normal range of sizes but we custom make all our board so any size and any colour is available. Boards start at $1600, this one is available for $1700.

Lots are people ringing asking where we are now I understand why. Bellambi Lane, at the eastern end, (or at the roundabout ) turns into Union St and then turns back into Bellambi Lane just for us. Bellambi Commercial Centre. Hope this helps. Big thanks to those that have already hunted me down and had a look. It’s not pretty atm, but it will be.

Hi All, anyone heading down the coast in the next week or so. Need this puppy delivered if anyone is offering. It going to Broulee but The Bay or even Ulladulla would be good. It’s 9’6 and I’m being picky but in the car not on the car. Cheers.

Visual impact on our fantastic coast. The impact on marine life from underwater blasting for the anchor points. Migrating birds getting chopped. Then the unknown, how will it effect the swell lines that hit our beaches? We could turn a full coastline of excellent beach breaks into beaches that have broken weak waves. Then what happens when the next east coast low hits. Last one had waves at south beach in excess of 10m, and do you remember the Sydney to Hobart with massive swell that sunk boards and killed multiple sailers. Thing is we get some massive swells in the gong and the ocean is unforgiving.

What I didn’t say.
As Wollongong home owners we get zero discount in our electricity it’s all going to BlueScope. Every single bit. No one is helping Carabine with my power bill.

I’m not a fan of the big fans they want to put off Wollongong, let’s all get behind this. The big question we should be asking is what are Wollongong council getting out of this? There must be some financial on going benefit. Remember these are the people that put a palm tree up a pole.

This is the Carabine glassing room. It’s right behind our showroom and on many occasion when you come in you get to experience the board making process. Everyone who’s been in knows and loves that smell. It’s not pretty but it’s been the birthplace of thousands of boards over the last 40+ years.

Made a few of these of late. Our performance longboard, it’s called Nick Off. I think it’s best around the 9’0 length, 22 wide and 2 3/4 thick. Few extra fin plugs always makes it more versatile and fun. It you’re not a nose rider and you want to catch more waves, this is for you.🤙
