Learning to control my environment is the best way I've been able to control my focus.

Here are a few ideas that could help you improve your WFH productivity and your overall wellbeing.

💎 A height adjustable desk

Standing is great for your health, improves your energy levels, and makes you more productive.

💎 A comfortable chair

When you are sitting down, you want to make sure you have something comfortable with good support.

💎 A diffuser with essential oils

Aromatherapy can help you calm your mind and keep you focused.

💎 Indoor plants

Plants have a grounding effect on your mind and body. This is especially true if you're an outdoorsy type.

💎 Vision board

For when you are feeling distracted, flat, or defeated, you'll have something to bring you back in alignment. A corkboard with printed pictures of your goals will go a long way.

💎 Ambient Lighting

Light can be used to influence mood and increase creativity, so use that to your advantage.

💎 Books

Creative inspiration or the opportunity to learn should be only an arm's length away.

There will still be days where you won't be productive...

Days where you just can't get anything done.

Having the right working environment won't eliminate that, but it will mean you have less of them 😄

The purpose of an offer is not to create a profitable transaction, it’s to create a profitable relationship.

If you can start to get customers transacting with you in some form, they become much more likely to do business with you again, provided your products and services are up to expectations.

That’s why it’s important to think long term, and put a value on the relationship with a customer, rather than 1 off transactions.

Here’s an example of an offer we rolled out into a client's business.

The offer was ‘get a free bottle of wine when you dine’

People could claim this voucher by clicking on a Facebook ad, where they’ll enter their information including phone number and email address, and from there, they’ll automatically receive the voucher.

The email also contains terms and conditions around how the voucher can be used which ensured that the offer was not going to be misused.

Given that it's a free bottle of wine, it doesn’t take much effort to explain the value around that, so naturally, the offer has been extremely successful with thousands of upvotes.

We also tracked how many times the offers were redeemed and what the average spend was per customer so we could track revenue.
