Do you know the My Print Co origin story? We thought it was time to reshare it, in case you're new to these here parts of Facebook! 😀

Gerringong Print, now called My Print Co, was started by Brian many years ago.

He'd worked with computers in New Zealand from when there were just three computers in the entire country! The computer would barely have fitted in the new My Print Co Barrack Height premises. 😬

He later installed computers for motor vehicle dealerships, until the company he worked for was sold.

At age 55, he decided he wanted a change from computers and bought a courier business. But he didn't like the way the systems worked, so he wrote his own... on a laptop. By the time he left, nearly every courier had bought the program from him!

When age caught up with Brian, he saw the opportunity to buy Colourful Cards, which was one of his courier clients. He renamed the business Gerringong Print and modernised it by moving from making business cards to more complex printing using modern printing methods.

Last year, Brian decided it was time to retire and handed the business over to John, who is bringing even more printing services to the business.

What do you remember of your first computer?

The best thing about memories is making them.

The second best thing is remembering them when you look at them on the wall.

We can't hang them on the wall for you, but we can print them onto canvas! 😁
