A little bit about me!

My interest in improving inclusion in our community has become a special interest of mine in recent years. I have always been aware of the challenges disabled people may face from seeing family members facing roadblocks and not having access to adequate services.

I studied psychology at uni, and worked in employment services for a number of years. A few years ago, I became a qualified Trainer and Assessor, focusing on foundation skills. I work with diverse students, including neurodiverse students, and students diagnosed with intellectual, developmental and learning disabilities.

I am now studying towards a Masters in Education, focusing on inclusion and supporting diverse students in the classroom. I have noticed a big gap in services that provide meaningful, collaborative and age-appropriate support services, especially for neurodiverse young people and adults. Indigo Spark Hub was created to address that gap!
