Some will say the oposite it was a "annus mirabilis" a miraculous year! At CHECS we have experienced both the great and not so great side by side! Hi everyone! We have had 54 people apply for the 2 Male Mental Health Support Worker roles we advertised. At this stage the positions have been filled on a 3 month trial. The other day I came across a Gumtree ad, placed by a Support Worker looking for work. She added her skills, experience and employment history and then priced her worth, to our horror she offered her services for $20 PER HOUR. My question, why do some Support Workers place such a low value on their work?? Can anyone answer that?...from sad news
