We want to express our heartfelt thanks for your support during the recent power and phone service outage 🖤 Currently, we are serving hot drinks and a limited selection of iced drinks until we gain full power back. At the moment we are running off a generator which has given us half our normal power and limited us to one coffee machine.

Unfortunately this is causing some wait times for coffees during peak periods, and while this is out of our control, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. We want to express how much we truly appreciate your understanding!

Despite the challenges, we are committed to staying open every day until full power is restored. However, our opening times are now shortened, and we will be closing at 12:30 every day until further notice ☕️. A huge shoutout to our incredible staff who are working under torch lights and the hum of the generator to keep the coffee flowing for our loyal Yarram community 🙌 … and a very special thank you to our amazing customers for supporting us through yet another tough time 🖤.

Recognising history

You may or may not of seen our new mural located on the top of our coffee roastery. We love respecting and remembering the past and we will always bring it forward as we grow.

These 3 images were some of the photos that were developed from a camera room found in the barn at the back of the shop. All of which were either owners or family members to the Mattern family.

- Wait Staff
- Barista
- Kitchen Staff

Previous experience is not essential, but to be suitable for these positions, individuals must:

- Be able to travel between The Bean Pedlar locations
- Have strong communication skills
- Be capable of multitasking
- Work well under pressure
- Be punctual
- Be a team player
