Doug Caldwell our 2024 Scholar, has had a long-held passion for the sheep and wool industry and sees the great value in our industry that feeds and clothes us in a sustainable manner.

Beginning his career as a Jackaroo, Doug has since set up his own sheep pregnancy scanning business which he has grown to now servicing clients across three states of Australia. Doug plans to use the Scholarship to gain more knowledge and further develop his skill set in his field, to better service his clients and the industry. 🐏

SheepMetriX is partnering with Ann Burbrook, Burbrook Insight Solutions to offer 'The Speaking Workshop'. We are opening this opportunity to anyone that is interested in joining us in Young on the 23rd and 24th of October.

This is a highly participatory workshop that explores the elements of public speaking common to any industry. It will focus on identifying strengths and developing public speaking and presentation skills as well as learning the theory and practicing the skills required to become a reliable and trusted voice.
