It’s skivvy time again………… and I have added a couple of stunning new prints to my website. This new print won’t last for long, it’s already a 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫!

My skivvies are made from 97% cotton with 3 % spandex so they will never wash out of shape.They are fabulous as they’re soft and cosy and I make them up in Young NSW with my very agreeable stretch sewing machinery.

My Nan, Myrtle, and 'Harry,' my pop, were quite the team, toiling away on their farm near Young in NSW from the 1920s to the 1960s. They tended to sheep, cultivated crops, and braved the scorching sun day in and day out. My Nan's ingenious solution to protect herself from the sun's harsh rays was to fashion arm coverings from cut-off stockings – a true testament to their resourcefulness in those days. Waste not, want not.
But oh, how times have changed! Nowadays, we have Sunsleeves to shield us from the sun with ease. I can't help but wonder, what would my Nan think of them? Would she have deemed them too luxurious for the paddock, or would she have embraced them wholeheartedly? What do you think? ⛪️

Yes I know we are now in spring (yay) but I must say that skivvy season for me usually extends right into early November!!!!

I pop on a skivvy, then add a light weight overtop and I’m good to go!
