Here’s a quick tip to help you out. Let’s make this situation easier for you!
〰️ Saturate your hair with conditioner.
〰️ Than part your hair in sections.
〰️ Go into each section with your fingers.
〰️ Open them up in a vertical direction as if you’re opening a curtain.
〰️ When you feel the knots aren’t there anymore? You use your fave tool to detangle the hair through and through.

This saves time & you prevent breakage.

1st of all you have to reshape your hair. This means shaking it up, seperate the intertwined curls. Shake the roots!

2nd. Look in the mirror to see if there are any frizzy curls.
Did you find some? Don’t fret!
Use your fave styling product to apply moisture and definition back into those curls. Go in curl by curl.
If a curl feels super dry? Spray a little bit of water on that curl only. Than apply product.

Lastly, lay those edges and you’re ready to go! 😊

When you start loving your curls when they’re in a healthy state? You are NOT going to care about what length they are.

Who wants dry, stringy, lifeless looking curls?
While you can have vibrant, luscious, shiny & bouncy curls?

This works because when you fingercoil you are making the curls spiral upwards. This technique might make your curls look super defined and neat, but if you hate shrinkage? DON’t fingercoil!
Accept that we will have a little bit of frizz here and there. Nothing wrong with that. You can always fix it with a little bit of water or gel. It’s really about defining each curl in the direction it flows naturally with minimum manipulation. The right gel will help you with this.

1️⃣ Make sure you deep condition weekly❗️

2️⃣ Before styling 🗣️use a very moisturizing leave in conditioner‼️

3️⃣ Use a styling cream that gives your curls great definition.

4️⃣ Finish with a curling gel that will hold those curls in place.

I you have fine texture/weightless curls and don’t like your curls to be weighed down? Skip step 3.
