- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical billing experience and a familiarity with basic medical terminology preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited medical receptionist program preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS certification preferred.

Experience:
- Two years’ previous medical office experience preferred.
- Customer Service/Training preferred.

Knowledge:
- Computer systems and applications including Word, Excel and email.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic office procedures.
- Ability to type 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy.

Skills:
- Ability to work independently and with the public in a high-pressure environment.
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Ability to work all shifts including day, night, and weekend hours as needed.
- Ability to es**rt or transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher when appropriate.
