💡 Did you know that every single year, the incoming board of all Kiwanis clubs follow a mandatory Club Leadership Education Training? This is to make sure they are fully equipped for their leadership roles before they are officially inducted as board members.
Today, we had a wonderful training session by Distinguished Lieutenant Governors Giantonio Muller and Patrick Melchiors, and Distinguished President Endrah Richardson, together with the incoming board of all our sister clubs on the island. It was truly insightful and engaging, our incoming board is now ready to lead our club forward with both passion and strategy!💪🏼

As we finalize this year's Clint Whitfield Outstanding Student Awards, we want to give a special shoutout to our organizing committee for doing the leg work on behalf of Kiwanis Club of Aruba. 🤩 After 28 years of our Clint Whitfield Outstanding Student Awards, we were proud to introduce a new and very special addition to our ceremony... the LEGACY AWARDS! This was in recognition of the students who have shown consistent excellence by receiving their Outstanding Student certificates for more than 1 schoolyear.
Congratulations to Elizabeth Vrolijk (2x Outstanding Student), Christian Balza (2x Outstanding Student), and Evie van der Sloot (4x Outstanding Student)! The Legacy Awards were proudly sponsored by Strena Creatives, along with a AWG 200 grant for each student as a reward for the legacy they leave behind and as motivation to continue their exemplary efforts.

✨ Celebrating the 28th edition of our Clint Whitfield Outstanding Student Awards! As the schoolyear came to a close, 9 students of Colegio Arubano were honored for their academic excellence with top grades. On behalf of Kiwanis Club of Aruba, we presented the students with their Clint Whitfield certificates and gifts as a token of their incredible achievement.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and esteemed Ex-kiwanis member, Bob Nieuw. He was a dedicated and passionate member of our community, always committed to serving others and making a positive impact.
He was a member since 1976
Club president 1986-1987
Division LG 1991-1992.
His contributions and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
FK Bob's legacy of kindness and service will continue to inspire us all.

At the district conference of the Eastern Canada and the Caribbean District of Kiwanis International held in Montego Bay in May 2024, our very own FK Bob Spellen has received the Distinguished Governor's recognition.
This prestigious recognition is a testament to FK Bob's exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to the Kiwanis organization during his term as Governor of the EC&C District.
Our club is extremely proud of this achievement and congratulates FK Bob with this well-deserved recognition and honor! 🌟

On the 29th of May during our General Meeting, we invited “Fundacion Ban Uni Man Pa Cria Nos Muchanan” to receive their donation from our Christmas ornaments project. For each donation of AWG 25,00 to the foundation, a one-of-a-kind Christmas ornament was handed over as a token of appreciation
Since 2001 Fundacion Ban Uni Man Pa Cria Nos Muchanan is providing breakfast to needy children in kindergarten, primary and secondary schools on the island. Kiwanis Club of Aruba has been a sponsor since the beginning and since 2017 organizes the Christmas ornament project dedicated especially for this foundation
Congratulations to the organization. On behalf of Kiwanis, we are happy to have been able to contribute to such an organization.

OUR HISTORY
On November 21, we commemorated that 55 years ago a group of local business men under leadership of late FK Clint Whitfield accepted the challenge to organize the first Kiwanis club on Aruba in order to serve the children of Aruba. During our 55 years history, our members have provided countless hours of impactful and devoted service in order to improve the lives of the children and our community.
Today, our club remains vibrant, dynamic, innovative, creative in purpose and is growing.
To our past members and partners THANK YOU for your contribution in laying a strong foundation for our club in order for the current generation of Kiwanians to keep building upon. To our current members and partners a heartfelt THANK YOU for your time, commitment, love, passion and dedication in making positive and lasting difference on the lives of the children and the community of Aruba. To the community of Aruba THANK YOU for your continued support to all the activities of our club for the past 55 years and into the future. We are extremely honored to carry on the Kiwanis legacy of those that started the Kiwanis movement on Aruba 55 years and look forward to at least another 55 years serving the Aruban community especially its children and those in need.
