Throw back to few month’s ago with Director Vonley smith sharing major keys about his creative process in a College lecture at COSTAATT City Campus in Trinidad for the Mobile Frame Workshop.

Titled of the lecture : “Mindset & Creative Will Power”

The college lecture saw other film creatives come and give their views on story telling and motivating the next generation.

Back in 2022 the our short film 1% won the Green screen environmental shorts shorts mobile award. 1year later the film went on to screen in Japanese international short film festival in 2023 🇯🇵 and has been selected at the lion international film festival and won best mobile film at the cine global film festival lion

Creating art towards environmental sustainability while staying true to the path of mental growth has always been something deep in the core of the film as it keeps on creating waves.

Recent event work for the Jazz experience In Trinidad 2023.

It’s finally the month of December and after staying In Trinidad for a year I had some amazing experiences exploring the cultural nuances of Trinidad & Tobago Starting with Parang. It’s truly a fun genre filled to love fun and togetherness.

Vonley’s statement :

Trinidad is part home for me and seeing how vulnerable we are here in the Caribbean to our ever changing climate, I am creatively motivated to bridge the gap of communication via the arts/film & community to contribute more storytelling within this regional and global ongoing conversation. Bridging the gap between genre blending film making and science.

I can’t wait to show what I have in store next year 2024 as we move towards completion of our feature film.
